Our worship services are first of all focused upon God as the sole audience. This means we worship Him in accordance with what He has prescribed in Scripture. Therefore our worship is Bible focused; meaning we read the Word, pray the Word, sing the Word and preach the Word of God... We are part of the Presbyterian Church in America, and as Presbyterians many of our roots go back to the time of the Reformation in Scotland and Europe. "Kirk" is an old Scottish word meaning "church" and our desire has always been to plant a church here on the Great Plains of Kansas. As our name suggests, we want to be a church for our day with roots in the past. We started a church planting Bible study in September of 2015 with the hope of not only planting a church in Andover, but eventually planting Presbyterian and Reformed churches across the state of Kansas.
