Cameron Whitney

Cameron Whitney is originally from Rochester, New York. She graduated from the University of Hartford in 2019, receiving her BFA in Ballet Pedagogy. She is currently a faculty and staff member at the University of Hartford's Hartt School Community Dance Department. As a Resident Artist for the Hartford Dance Collective, she is given the opportunity to teach dance and perform in the Hartford area. Cameron is looking forward being a part of the Magna Physical Therapy team and applying her knowledge of movement.

Carly Atkinson

Carly earned her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics/Statistics from University of Connecticut in May 2020. While attending UConn, she spent a lot of time working in the university's Athletic Department. Carly grew up in Canton, CT and played for both the basketball and lacrosse teams. Carly is looking forward to being part of the Magna Physical Therapy team and learning about a different area of focus.

Diane Massey

Diane Massey is a Certified Kripalu 500-Hour RYT Yoga Instructor and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She leads her yoga classes with an inquiry-based approach, exploring gentle movement and poses that encourage body alignment, increased flexibility, and balance. She encourages the use of props to modify poses, making the benefits of yoga accessible to all. Her classes also incorporate the exploration of breathwork fostering a form of meditation in motion. Taking a class with Diane's is a journey of self-discovery, compassionate observation, free from self-judgment. Her philosophy and approach to Yoga (and life) is All Things in Balance

Dr. Brian Magna

Brian has been working as a physical therapist for over 20 years. He holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Institute of Health and a physical therapy degree from the University of Connecticut. Brian's other degrees include a masters degree from Western Michigan University in sports medicine as well as a bachelors degree from Eastern Connecticut State University in Biology. Brian served as a Physical Therapist on the LPGA & PGA Tours from 2000-2004 as well as the U.S. Solheim Cup Therapist in 2002 in Edina, Minnesota and 2003 in Malmo, Sweden. Brian perviously served on the board of directors for the Connecticut Dance Alliance and is currently a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science. He also previously worked as a physical therapist for the Hartford Ballet.

Dr. Laura Fetko

Laura graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from American International College. She was given the opportunity to complete her full time clinical affiliations with Bay State Physical Therapy in NH, Greg Ott Physical Therapy in NC, and Visiting Nursing and Rehab Services in MA. Prior to receiving her doctorate she completed her undergraduate studies in Dance and Exercise Science at Dean College in Franklin MA. Laura is excited to incorporate her love of dance into her profession. Laura has been dancing since she was three, she has had choreography showcased in Cambridge Ma, and The Works hosted by Jennifer Muller in NY. Laura was also the Artistic Director of Unyted Tekniques in Boston Ma. Laura currently a dance teacher at a studio in Chester CT. Laura is excited to build upon her love of helping others and dance.

Dr. Meagan Robichaud

Meagan graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Springfield College. Prior to receiving her doctorate she completed her undergraduate studies in Health Sciences and Dance. Meagan has been dancing since she was three, and has had a passion for incorporating it into her career for many years. Outside of dance, she enjoys the outdoors and spends her time hiking, biking, running, and chasing sunsets. Meagan has an interest in running and dance injuries with her background and has found a passion for treating both post op and adolescent patients. She is a RockTape FMT certified provider and also specializes in cupping. Meagan works with NeuroTour in the CT area and is certified to provide backstage physical therapy coverage for Broadway performers when the shows come through the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, the Shubert Theater, the Oakdale Theater and The Warner Theatre.

Dr. Ryan Edgar

Ryan graduated Mount Saint Mary College with his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2015, and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Hartford in 2018. He enjoys treating a wide variety of sports related injuries and also discovered particular enjoyment in treating adolescents after completing a clinical rotation with Westview Sports Medicine and having the opportunity to work with athletes from Pomfret School. Ryan grew up in Avon, CT playing baseball and soccer from childhood through to college, which helped to develop a clinical fondness for rehabbing shoulder, knee, and ankle injuries.

Dr. Suzanne Osborne

Suzanne received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and has been practicing within the greater Hartford area since 2001. In addition to her skilled knowledge of orthopedic and sports physical therapy, Suzanne has extensive experience with vestibular therapy and balance disorders. Her specialties include physical therapy for Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and cerebrovascular accident (CVA). Osbourne's approach to patient care includes a strong emphasis on partnering with her patients to address those limitations that interrupt everyday function.

Janelle Holmes

Janelle Holmes recently earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts from University of Hartford in May of 2020, with a focus in ballet pedagogy. While attending The Hartt School, she performed in many main stage shows, and danced as a guest artist with Ballet Hartford. Janelle has also held various internships focused on teaching dance in the Hartford area. Additionally, Janelle is involved with artistic outreach programs such as Spectrum in Motion and The Prism Project, practicing movement and music therapy with students with exceptionalities. Currently, Janelle is pursuing her Masters of Business Administration at University of Hartford and is excited to apply her knowledge of movement, and to build on her professional skills at Magna Physical Therapy.

Jennifer Stawarz

In 2004, Jennifer received her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford. She offers quality orthopedic care and her treatments emphasize a hands-on approach combined with medical exercise training. She believes in promoting a healthy lifestyle and loves educating her patients about diet and exercise for the mind and body. She also helps her patients by promoting self awareness to their rehabilitation experience. Jennifer has an advanced certification in the Cyriax technique and completed a 10 month manual therapy course emphasizing spine injuries & intervention. Jennifer continues to supplement her education through continuing education courses including fundamentals in therapeutic & kinesiology taping, strain/counter strain techniques, Core Therapy using theraball, bio-mechanical analysis & treatment of foot & ankle dysfunction, Mulligan mobilization with movement & taping.

Meredith Bolton

Meredith Bolton is originally from Laingsburg, Michigan. She will graduate with her Bachelors of Fine Arts with a Ballet Pedagogy Emphasis from the University of Hartford in May 2021. Meredith has performed in numerous shows with The Hartt School and as a guest artist with Ballet Theatre Company. Meredith has also been involved with the artistic outreach programs The Prism Project and Spectrum in Motion serving as Junior Faculty the past two summers. Additionally, she has teaching experience from various internships as well as prior to studying at The Hartt School. Meredith plans to pursue a graduate degree in Movement Therapy and has a special affinity for the geriatric population. Meredith is excited to apply her knowledge and build her experience at Magna Physical Therapy.

Rachel Kuang

Rachel is a recent graduate from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. During her time at UConn, she spent most of her time working with academically struggling undergraduate students through weekly mentoring and holistic support. She has teaching experience both in teaching undergraduate student mentors and toddlers. Rachel also balanced school with 2 part time jobs as a daycare teacher and as a bartender/hostess back in her hometown of Simsbury. In her free time, Rachel enjoys going out with friends to try different cuisines/foods from different countries, listening to live music, stargazing in the summer, and staying active by playing different sports. In the future, Rachel is hoping to continue her education to become a physical therapist either working with young children or in orthopedics. Rachel's dream and goals in life is to open her own practice one day and to promote holistic, emotional, and empathetic support in people's recovery journey within the healthcare system. She values and believes emotional support can motivate anyone to reach their goals faster no matter how tough or impossible it may seem. Rachel is excited to join the team and to continue to gain valuable experiences at Magna Physical Therapy.

Tess Maffiolini

Tess recently graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in biology, where she was involved in the pre-physical therapy society and molecular and cell biology club. She also enjoyed participating in undergraduate research in the orthopedics department at UCONN Health.

Tina Semevolos

Tina is a recent graduate of Dickinson College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. At Dickinson, she played Division III Basketball and was the President of the A capella group. During her time at Dickinson she worked as a Sports Medicine Student Assistant and developed her knowledge within the field. Tina enjoys playing sports, singing, dancing, and spending time with friends and family. In the near future, she plans on pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant. Tina is excited to join the Magna team and to continue to gain hands-on experience as well as expand her knowledge in the health field.
