Chad Knudsen has approximately twenty-five years of experience in the insurance, regulatory and environmental consulting, and energy compliance industries. Before working in the insurance industry, Chad worked in the Environmental and Natural Resources Department for one of the largest energy providers in the United States. Before working in the energy sector, Chad worked as a project manager for engineering and environmental consulting firms in Georgia and Texas. Chad began his career working in the water group for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Chad received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and earned a Certificate in Project Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Chad's background allows him to bring a unique combination of experience and a broader perspective when advising clients on optimal risk management programs and insurance placements.
Richard Young has experience in multiple disciplines of the energy, marine, and environmental sector. He began his career at Charter Energy Insurance and Consulting focusing on client development and service spanning the mining, oil and gas, and utility sectors. In 2013 he transitioned his practice to Mid State Insurance to build and train a focused team capable of performing all risk management functions in the energy, marine, and environmental sector. Richard received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Georgia.
