NEW VIEW PSYCHIATRY

New View Psychiatry was created by Robert Husemann in 2022 shortly after receiving his Nurse Practitioner License from the state of Iowa. After working for many years as a psychiatric RN, Robert noticed that there was a huge disconnect between patients that needed mental health services and patients that received mental health services. In many cases, patients were not able to schedule with a provider, and if they were, the provider was booked out as far as 3 months. To Robert this was not acceptable and unsafe for the patient. With this in mind, Robert designed New View Psychiatry using a streamlined approach. This means that instead of waiting for months to see a provider, patients can now see a provider in as little as one to two days. This was achieved with the use of telehealth.
