Alexandra Maue

Alex is a paralegal on the Petrone Risk deliverables team. She ensures smooth operation of the team with her wide-ranging administrative knowledge and efficient handling of scheduling, event coordination and reports management. Alex uses her expertise in organization and systems development to locate and expand areas for efficiency and growth. Her years of experience as an administrative assistant and client-facing paralegal provide her with a strong foundation to provide swift support to both internal and external partners. Alex earned her Bachelor of Arts from Emory University. She is passionate about the promotion of the SAFETY Act, emergency preparedness and making the world a safer place for all.

Andrew Dumas

Andrew brings to Petrone Risk nearly a decade of experience in various operational and financial leadership roles within the financial services industry. As Financial Controller, Andrew oversees the delivery of financial controls including, but not limited to, treasury, accounting, reporting, corporate insurance, tax, compliance and budgeting. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science from Adelphi University.

Brian Calame

Job Titles:

Upon graduation from the University of Buffalo, Brian accumulated several years of public sector experience focusing on government affairs. Working to implement both strategy and policy, he acquired an insight to the legislative process from design through implementation and enactment. Moving to the private sector, Brian concentrated on enterprise management and business development for the travel and hospitality industries. He brings this knowledge and insight to Petrone Risk in support of the emergency preparedness, business continuity and cyber security initiatives on behalf of our clients. Brian specializes in guiding healthcare, hospitality and educational institutions to realize best practices in emergency preparedness.

Donna Green

Donna has worked in the legal field as a corporate, insurance defense and real estate paralegal for much of her career. She has been with Petrone Risk since its inception and encompasses a vast, granular knowledge of the Safety Act process. Donna's analytical skills and appreciation for details has secured the confidence of clients and the success that she has enjoyed as a paralegal. Donna earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Office Administration from Bob Jones University.

Floyd Allen Hyde

Army Retired Captain, Floyd Allen Hyde, has distinguished himself with over 40 years of exceptionally meritorious service in the United States Army and the Tennessee Army National Guard. Floyd also served as the Police Lieutenant of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee assigned to the Special Operations Division. He served as a team leader on the Special Weapons and Tactics Team for several years before becoming the Command of the Emergency Contingency Section which included the Emergency Contingency Planning Team, Urban Search and Rescue Team, Crisis Negotiations Team, and the Hazardous Devices Unit. Most recently, Floyd served as the Safety Act Manager at Nissan Stadium focusing his expertise on Policy Design, Training, as well as the Oversight of SAFETY Act and National Football League Best Practices for Stadium Security, and Major Events Incident Command Training and Management. He possesses specialty training in a variety of areas including sport event risk management and sport and special event evacuation. In addition, he has received several special training opportunities from the Department of Homeland Security including Advanced Chemical & Biological Integrated Response, Enhanced Threat and Risk Assessment, Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings Instructor Training, Enhanced Incident Management Unified Command, Advance Counterterrorism, Advance Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT). He is a certified instructor for Incident Command Systems, Active Shooter, Special Weapons and Tactics Advanced Operations, and Table-Top Exercises.

Gregory Olmstead

Greg brings over 30 years of experience in the military and government security. Most recently as a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security focusing on implementation of the U.S. Government's Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies (SAFETY) Act, to further the development of new security and anti-terrorism programs and technologies in the private sector. Prior to then, he served as an Anti-Terrorism Expert at the Institute for Defense Analysis concentrating his efforts on operational security, where he was a technical expert on anti-terrorism programs and systems in support of the DHS SAFETY Act program. He also reviewed and evaluated testing of DHS National Cyber Protection System (NCPS) and Einstein (E3A) cyber security systems. Greg was a Supervisory Special Agent and Security Engineering Officer for the Diplomatic Security Service of the U.S. Department of State. He served in the United States Marine Corps. as an intelligence officer focusing on Intelligence, cryptologic and electronic security/information warfare operations. Greg's core skills include management of large domestic and international physical, protective and technical security operations, program budget development, design of integrated physical and technical security systems, liaison for security/ intelligence support at a national level, as well as review of large corporate security programs in private and government sectors with a focus on commercial buildings, sports and entertainment venues and aviation security. Greg is a graduate of The Ohio State University, the U.S. Naval PostGraduate School and the post graduate intelligence program at the Joint Military Intelligence College.

John Doscas - CEO

John has over 30 years of experience in the financial markets and consulting industries. He has extensive experience investing in both public and private companies. His focus has been primarily in the areas of fintech and cyber security. He has advised numerous institutions on the financial markets and has served on various industry panels and committees. In addition, he invests and is active in the commercial real estate market. John holds a BS in finance from Fordham University and has returned to lecture there. He has served on the executive committee of Fordham University's President Council, the Parents Leadership Committee of Vanderbilt University and the Board of Visitors of The Wake Forest Schools of Business. John feels strongly about supporting leading scientific, education and medical research institutions. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Diabetes Institute Research Foundation and chairs its investment committee.

John Petrone II - CEO

John has over 30 years experience as a practicing attorney. He leads Petrone Risk's legal risk management and security programming services. He implements the development of best practices, oversees legal risk management analysis, SAFETY Act initiatives and emergency preparedness planning. The scope of his risk management practice includes professional athletic organizations, stadium ownership, stadium management, collegiate athletic facilities, event service contractors, security program technology solutions and vendors, municipal, governmental, not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. John has overseen matters in both civil and corporate litigation that formed the basis of his law practice. His areas of expertise also include civil litigation encompassing commercial litigation, commercial transactions, areas of general insurance defense, general liability, malpractice, labor law, municipal law and property damage, professional liability litigation, managed care facility litigation, officers and directors' litigation, employment practices litigation, environmental litigation/mass toxic torts in the areas of asbestos, lead and mold, and risk management. John is a current member of the SMA Emergency Preparedness Committee, IAVM COVID-19 Industry Advisory Group, board member of the Sports and Entertainment Risk Management Alliance (SERMA) and the Syracuse University Board of Athletics. Previously, he has served as Chairman of Fund Raising for SUNY-Marcy Athletic Complex, co-director and board member of the National Long-Distance Runners Hall of Fame and member of the Syracuse University College of Law Board of Visitors. John is a graduate of Manhattan College and attended Syracuse University College of Law where he attained his Juris Doctorate.

Kathleen Lupia - CEO

Kathy has over 20 years' experience as a practicing attorney specializing in legal risk management, and is recognized as one of the leading authorities on the SAFETY ACT in the United States. Kathy's extensive knowledge allowed her to co-develop the infrastructure of the Legal Risk Management program at Petrone Risk and work closely with clients in navigating risks within complex compliance and regulatory regimes. Since inception, she has been leading Petrone Risk's work in support of professional and collegiate athletic facilities, entertainment venue security programming and extraneous technologies (products and services) deployed in support of security programs. Her work concentrates on the development of applicable plans, protocols, manuals and training materials, facilitation of table-top exercises, preparation of SAFETY Act submissions and resiliency services in conjunction with client projects. Kathy has worked on numerous projects which have been rendered on behalf of professional athletic organizations, professional athletic facilities, municipal entities, event service contractors, security program technology solutions and vendors. Each engagement is formulated in accordance with specific client needs and may incorporate SAFETY Act and/or emergency preparedness, along with safety and security elements. Kathy works closely with the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and is NIMS certified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Kathy is a graduate of Syracuse University and attained her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. Her years of experience as a civil litigator helped form the basis of her unique skill set essential to that of a Legal Risk Manager as well as allowing her to develop a systematic approach to convey key Legal Risk Management safety, security and emergency preparedness strategies with other ownership groups, legal professionals, security personnel, corporate officers and directors, organizational thought leaders and administrative staff.

Nicole Petrone - Managing Director

Nicole focuses her area of practice on development and formation of Emergency Operations Plans (EOP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manuals, Business Continuity Plans and Training Portfolios at their inception, as well as the formulation of companion training materials and development, and presentation of Table-Top Exercises. These projects include professional athletic organizations, stadium ownership, stadium management, collegiate athletic facilities, event service contractors, security program technology solutions and vendors, municipal, governmental, not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. She is NIMS certified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). In addition to emergency preparedness and security programming, Nicole supports SAFETY Act initiatives on behalf of Petrone Risk clients. Prior to joining Petrone Risk, Nicole served as an extern to the Honorable Glenn T. Suddaby, Chief U.S. District Judge and First Judicial Department Justice Barbara Kapnick. Her tenure at these two placements spurred her interest in federal and state statutory and regulatory compliance, specifically within the commercial sector. Nicole is a graduate of Hartwick College and attended Syracuse University College of Law where she attained her Juris Doctorate.

Ronald Stanko

Ron brings over 40 years of experience in leadership positions in government as well as the private sector. Most recently, serving as the Deputy Director of the Governor's Office of Homeland Security, where he was responsible for the oversight and management of Homeland Security operations within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is credited with the development of a statewide Homeland Security and Cyber Security Strategy consistent with Presidential directives. Prior to then, Ron served as Chief Deputy Attorney General at the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General focusing within the regulatory compliance and intelligence section. In the private sector, Ron was CEO of Puma USA and General Counsel for Puma Germany along with over 10 years of private practice work. He utilizes his wealth of knowledge to facilitate table-top exercises for Petrone Risk clients to ensure our clients stay prepared and safe. Ron is a graduate of Villanova University and attended Temple University School of Law where he attained his Juris Doctorate.

Sara Petrone

Sara leads Petrone Risk's technology steering committee, assisting new and emerging technology companies in coming to market. She brings to Petrone Risk extensive knowledge of corporate sponsorships, sales and marketing as well as community and public relations accumulated from a decade of experience working in the professional sports and entertainment industries. She has worked directly with corporate leadership executives and business partners within professional sports organizations such as the National Football League (NFL), National Hockey League (NHL), National Lacrosse League (NLL) and the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). Embedded in the day-to-day operations of sports and entertainment companies, Sara has acquired an elevated awareness and detailed understanding of operational security and emergency preparedness first-hand. She provides an aptitude to implement corporate growth strategies and foster relationships given her experience managing multimillion-dollar partnerships, most recently at Pegula Sports and Entertainment. Sara earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Marketing from St. John Fisher College.

Scott Casey

  • Physical Security Industry Specialist
Scott is a Physical Security Industry Specialist with an active national security clearance (TS SCI) and 20+ years' experience in proactive security, safety, compliance, law enforcement, emergency preparedness, and internal/external investigations. His diverse skill sets include an advanced acumen in developing and implementing security strategies aligned with corporate objectives and business needs, while analyzing and systematically integrating gathered data to identify risks. Most recently, Scott spent six years at Thornton Tomasetti where he provided clients with numerous reasonable and proportional options to reduce risk and increase resiliency utilizing physical and technology measures, operations, training, and emergency response preparedness. He planned, coordinated, and conducted over 150 risk assessments of nationally significant critical infrastructure. He is experienced in Safety Case Authoring, Formal Safety Assessment and Risk Management, Consequence Assessment, Evacuation, Escape and Rescue Analysis and Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis, Fire and Explosion Dynamics, Quantitative Risk Assessment, Safety Management Systems and Performance Standards. In addition, Scott spent over a decade with the Colorado Department of Public Safety serving in various positions including, Master Trooper Assigned to the FBI-Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), Master Trooper Assigned to the Colorado Auto Theft Intelligence Coordination Center (ATICC), Master Trooper Assigned to Colorado Homeland Security Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit, and Colorado State Trooper Assigned to the K9 Unit. He also participated in the Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab (CELL) over a five-year period and is expert in the design of protecting critical infrastructure.
