SDCA is actively pursuing plans to enhance its seating capacity from existing 7,000 spectators to 30,000 spectators and thereby becoming a arena for hosting National and International level cricket matches and tournaments... Initially, the association didn't have its own ground. Earlier, cricket matches were played on Police Headquarter's ground and other activities realted to cricket were also conducted on the same ground, later the same activites were conducted on MTB College and K.P. Commerce College's ground and Ranji Trophy matches and other national level matches were played on MTB college ground,Baroda Rayon ground and ISLAM Gymkhana ground too.
