Debriprasad has over 25 years of experience in new product development and commercialization and created GE Aviation's real time simulation lab for developing model-based system integration of aircraft power systems. He was a Senior Principal Engineer at Rockwell Automation Advanced Technology lab where he was part of a team that successfully developed and tested a 1,000HP superconducting motor. At Trans Coil International he developed a 100KVAR and a 225KVAR active filter system from inception to commercialization. He conducted research on wind energy and electrical vehicle projects at UW Madison with Prof. Thomas Lipo.
Dr. Panda has been involved in projects with the National Science Foundation, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Department of Energy, and the Office of Naval Research.
