Adam Bachelet

Job Titles:

Adam is a Trust Manager and joined Artemis in 2007. He has over 10 years' experience working with corporate and trust structures and has worked with various companies both private and listed. As well as trust administration, Adam also has experience with all facets of corporate secretarial practice. Adam is currently studying the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators.

Alex Guilbert

Job Titles:
  • Director
Alex joined Artemis in September 2019 and heads the Compliance and Risk department. He has over 20 years' experience in the financial service sector covering trust, investment management, long term insurance and banking. Over 10 years of that experience has been in a second line of defence role. As well as compliance and risk, Alex has management experience in IT, project management and corporate governance. He also has an MBA from the University of Warwick. Alex was educated in Guernsey. Prior to working in the financial services sector, he was an academic in the UK and holds a PhD in ultrasonic flow measurement.

Andy Cohen

Andy joined Artemis in 2020 with previous experience working in Compliance roles for a Guernsey regulated bank for 5 years. Prior to working in the Financial Services sector Andy spent over 10 years working in the Police Command and Control environment in the UK. Andy holds a BA Hons Degree, an ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk & Compliance and a CMI Diploma in Leadership and Management.

Craig Marsh

Craig joined Artemis in 2022. Craig has enjoyed a career in the finance industry for more than 30 years and has worked for large publicly listed institutions to small privately owned boutique businesses, predominantly within the fiduciary sector. During this time Craig has gained extensive experience in most areas of wealth management through the creation and administration of corporate and trust structures. He is well versed in compliance remediation matters having assisted organisations in updating and maintaining procedures, processes and records to ensure regulatory obligations are discharged and standards maintained. Craig is STEP and ICSA qualified and holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance through Bournemouth University.

Debbie Guillou - CEO

Debbie joined Artemis as Chief Executive Officer in September 2019. Debbie is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Chartered Director with experience in wealth management, insurance and fund management as well as utilities and healthcare. Debbie was also a founding board member of the Office of the Financial Services Ombudsman in Guernsey and Jersey which collectively operate under the name of the Channel Islands Financial Ombudsman. Debbie was educated in Guernsey and has an honours degree in accountancy from the University of Stirling.

Emma Wild

Emma has worked in the industry for over 15 years and has experienced all aspects of trust and company administration. She has worked on various corporate and trust structures over the years in a range of jurisdictions. Emma joined Artemis in October 2022 as assistant trust manager and has taken on responsibility of a large trust and company structure holding a variety of assets for a high net worth family. Emma holds the Certificate in Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Harry Wild

Harry joined Artemis in February 2017 and has progressed to the role of Assistant Trust Manager. He has over 6 years of experience working with trust and corporate structures and currently manages a varied portfolio of clients and assets, including UK resident individuals, structures with UK real estate and structures with interests in the mining industry. Harry also has experience in Private Office structures and family trust structures. Harry holds a Diploma in International Finance and Administration.

Ian Domaille

Job Titles:

Ian is a Director and a founding shareholder of Artemis. Prior to that he was a partner in a mid-sized firm of Chartered Accountants. He has over 30 years' experience in the finance industry in Guernsey and is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Ian's clients are principally high net worth individuals from across the globe. He is involved in planning aspects for many different types of assets and works with major firms of lawyers, accountants and banks, as well as niche service providers. Ian capitalises on the breadth of his professional relationships to assist clients in pursuing the most appropriate solution to their needs. Ian also sits on a number of boards including those of listed companies, as a non-executive director and is involved in regulated financial institutions in several jurisdictions. Ian has served as a Member of the Financial Advisory Committee of the European Patent Office since June 2017.

Jack Richards

Jack is the Assistant Manager within the Finance and Accounting team. Jack joined Artemis in 2016 as a trainee accountant, and now manages a team that are responsible for preparing client financial statements and maintaining financial records. Jack is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) having qualified in 2021 and is accomplished in preparing financial statements under FRS 102 and IFRS accounting standards. He is currently studying a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with the Oxford Brookes University.

Jade Childs

Having started her Trust career at Artemis in 2008, Jade has progressed from an Assistant Administrator to an Assistant Trust Manager over the years and is ICSA qualified. Jade has experience in working with both Trust and Corporate structures and administers a portfolio, which incorporates Private Office structures and family trust structures.

James Burton

James joined Artemis in 2015 and is an Assistant Manager. Having worked in the Guernsey finance industry for over 12 years, he has experience in the administration of large family trust and company structures and the variety of assets such structures own. James is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners

Julia Church

Job Titles:
  • Associate Director
Julia has 30 years' experience within international fiduciary and wealth management. She trained and qualified in Corporate Governance with Credit Suisse Trust, where she worked for 17 years before moving to head up Barclays Wealth in Guernsey. Julia joined Artemis in August 2019 to manage a portfolio of complex inter-generational family trusts with varied financial and non-financial assets and an international dynamic. Julia speaks German, and has worked in UK, Holland, Germany and Switzerland - she enjoys supporting and guiding beneficiaries to effectively engage with the complex and changing landscapes of Family Trusts.

Justin Jager

Justin is a Director with over 15 years of experience, who joined Artemis in February 2017. He was educated in Guernsey before moving to the UK to attend university. He qualified with a BSc hons degree from Nottingham University, followed by a MSc from University of Wales. He remained in the UK for a further 6 years, where he trained as a Chartered Management Accountant. Justin returned to Guernsey in 2002, where he commenced his career in the Finance industry. Justin manages a team of administrators with particular exposure to complex trust and corporate structures.

Kate Gilliott - CHRO

Kate has over 25 years' experience working within Recruitment and Human Resources for both the finance and commercial sector. She joined Artemis in 2006 and oversees the entire HR function including talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations and learning and development. Kate is CIPD qualified in Human Resources Management.

Katie de la Haye

Katie joined Artemis as an Assistant Trust Administrator after leaving school in 2016. Over the last 7 years Katie has progressed to Assistant Trust Manager, gaining experience in administering a range of trust and corporate structures, and has also successfully completed her ICSA.

Maggie Hannis

Maggie has worked in Trust and Company administration for over 20 years. She has worked with a range of high net worth individuals and family offices, and has a detailed knowledge of the operation and management of trust and corporate vehicles. Maggie also has experience working on contentious trust issues. Maggie is a member of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Society of Trust Estate Practitioners.

Mark Bright

Mark joined Artemis in January 2020 as an independent non-executive director. He has over forty years' experience in financial services, most of which he spent in private wealth. He has lived and worked in the UK, the Middle East and the Channel Islands for some of the world's leading international banking groups. Mark holds an Honours Degree in Financial Services and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He served two terms as Chairman of the Association of Guernsey Banks and was a Council Member of the Guernsey International Business Association for eleven years. Mark previously sat on the FinTech Strategy Group and is a non-executive director on the boards of several other locally regulated firms.

Mary Humphreys

Mary is a Trust Manager at Artemis with 20 years' experience in the finance industry in Guernsey. After attaining a BA Hons degree in International Business Studies from Portsmouth University and the University of Southern Denmark, Mary qualified as a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2012, before continuing her studies in Trust Disputes and Foundation Law. Mary's clients are principally HNW individuals from around the globe. Mary's expertise is with more complex structure arrangements, court applications, family matters and developing effective family governance structures.

Odette Kriel

Odette joined Artemis as an Assistant Manager - Company Secretarial in December 2022. She was educated in South Africa where she obtained a BA Hons and a Bachelor of Laws degree. She has 22 years financial services experience working in compliance officer and legal adviser roles for listed Investment Management and Insurance companies. She specialised in corporate continuity and risk mitigation planning, cross-border estate planning, international investment management and personal risk planning as a qualified Certified Financial PlannerĀ®

Petra Foss

Petra is an Associate Director and joined Artemis in 2012 as an Assistant Trust Administrator. She has 9 years' experience working with trust and corporate structures and currently manages a varied portfolio of clients and assets, including ultra-high net worth clients, UK resident non-domiciled individuals, structures with UK residential property and mining structures. Petra holds a Master's Degree in Management and Marketing of SMEs and qualified as a Chartered Secretary in 2017. She is an Associate of The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.

Ryan Courtney

Ryan joined Artemis as Head of Legal and Corporate Governance in January 2022. He was educated in South Africa where he qualified with a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of South Africa. He practiced as an Attorney in South Africa for 9 years prior to relocating to Guernsey where he remained in practice for a further three years prior to commencing his in-house role with Artemis.

Sarah Guilbert

Sarah is an Associate Director having joined Artemis in 2022. Sarah has over 18 years' experience in wealth management, gained in Guernsey, Jersey and London. She has worked on various, high level trust and corporate structures for multinational clients, with particular emphasis on UHNW clients and their assets, family office and succession planning. Sarah is STEP qualified, with additional qualifications in accounting and lending.

Sean Gill

Sean is the Head of the Finance and Accounting team and has been with Artemis for over 15 years. Sean leads a team of 9 staff members, including full and part qualified accountants, bookkeepers and experienced payment professionals. Before starting in the private financing sector, Sean spent 10 years in the captive insurance industry of which 7 years were working for the largest European captive insurance managers with a global client base. After a successful career providing financial reporting information for corporate clients, he has successfully applied his knowledge in the private client environment. Sean is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, having qualified in 2005 and obtained his fellowship a few years later.
