Alasdair Mason

Job Titles:

Alasdair joined Tritax in February 2020 and acts as the Fund Controller for MetroBox. He is responsible for all aspects of finance in relation to the fund, including financial modelling, portfolio analysis, financial reporting, debt advisory and covenant analysis. Alasdair qualified as an ACA with PwC in 2015 primarily focusing on asset management and private equity audits. He has further experience with T.Rowe Price, a listed American asset manager in the internal audit team focusing on the EMEA and APAC regions as well as the equity and fixed income divisions. He was then financial controller at CMC Markets a listed financial derivatives dealer before making the move to Tritax.

Dominic Moore

Job Titles:

Dom looks after the asset management across the AIPUT Fund that moved over to Tritax from Abrdn in 2023. His focus is on rental growth, strategic relationships with occupiers and progressing developments across the portfolio. Dom joined Tritax in 2023 after 13 years at Clearbell Capital LLP where he was Head of Asset Management and ESG overseeing value add activities on the closed ended opportunity funds. Prior to this he worked at New Star, REIT Asset Management and Clerical Medical on asset/portfolio management across all asset classes. Dom's career spans over 25 years having completed an MSc in Property Valuation and Management from Sheffield Hallam University. He also holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Liverpool.

James Watson

James joined Tritax as an equity partner in 2020 at the inception of our MetroBox last mile logistics vehicle. He has responsibility for the management of a number of Tritax's private funds, with a focus on new business, formulating investment strategies for existing mandates, and leading the origination and execution of asset acquisitions and disposals. He is Strategic Fund Manager for MetroBox and AIPUT. James has spent almost 30 years operating in the property capital markets. He began his career in occupational agency with Cushman & Wakefield where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor before moving into capital markets at JLL in 1997. He has a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from Birmingham City University.

Nick Ireland

Job Titles:

Nick has over 30 years of commercial property experience, with 22 years spent in the fund management industry with abrdn. During Nick's time at abrdn, he was the lead investment manager for a variety of funds with differing strategies, including management of AIPUT between its initial launch in 2002 and 2014, and has delivered consistent long-term outperformance in the funds he was responsible for. Laterally at abrdn Nick was part of the Real Estate Management Team as Head of Core Funds, and was responsible for the fund management and implementation of fund strategy for some 28 funds globally, with AUM of circa £14 billion.
