Grant started his career as a chartered surveyor in London in the late 1990s. Before launching Barnes & Barnes, he worked with CBRE, Bradford & Bingley bank, Countrywide and Allsop, the national property auctions consultancy. Besides his surveying qualifications, and a degree in economics, Grant also has a postgraduate diploma in historic building conservation. Grant has undertaken legal experience training and been successful in achieving an Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence (APAEWE).

Mike has more than 40 years' experience in the structural design of buildings, and the inspection, investigation and reporting of structural defects. He has completed thousands of building surveys and is a specialist in structural defects to domestic properties in particular. Mike is also party wall surveyor (Member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors) and has given evidence as an expert witness in court. Mike has also developed a UK-wide network for chartered engineers and surveyors and organised a number of conferences to support and raise standards in the sector.
Natasha has over 25years experience within the property sector in various capacities. Initially as an estate agent working for Hamptons International within several London offices, prior to setting up her own London estate agency. She has a passion for construction, particularly carbon neutral design principles and after starting a family, she qualified as a residential surveyor and now specialises in residential home buyers reports and valuations throughout London.
Simon moved into the property sector following a number of years as an officer in the British Army. On leaving the army he qualified as a surveyor and has been assessing and valuing residential and commercial properties in London since 2010.
