Adrian, a seasoned underwriter, holds 30+ years of expertise in insurance and brokering. His vast experience spans the UK and New Zealand markets. Currently, he serves as a senior underwriter in the NBS renewals team.
Amelia's primary responsibility involves overseeing the underwriting inboxes. She plays a crucial role in ensuring that communication received from brokers is effectively directed to the appropriate underwriter.

Andrew specialises in managing the group's risk and compliance functions at NBS. Having embarked on his insurance career on the high street and subsequently working with a specialist commercial broker, Andrew brings a wealth of experience in servicing a diverse client portfolio throughout the UK and Ireland.
Since 2010, Andrew has been an integral part of the RiskAlliance Group, and he was a founding member of NBS. He holds a crucial role in upholding regulatory compliance within our organisation. With a deep understanding of FCA rules, Andrew ensures that our operations adhere to the highest industry standards. He also bears the responsibility of overseeing legal matters, including health and safety protocols at NBS.
Arun, has been an underwriter at NBS since May 2021, he specialises in SME risks and has a diverse skill set to underwrite various products. He seamlessly supports the commercial team as and when required.
Arun joined NBS in May 2021 after graduating from university with a first class degree in international business. He has underwriting experience in legal indemnities after completing a placement year at CLS Risk Solutions.
Shewar is the NBS Team Leader for both the SME and Commercial Renewal Teams. Her responsibilities include, the development of renewal team members, training new underwriters, managing workflows, and prioritising risks to ensure ….
Beth, an experienced Commercial Underwriter, joined NBS in 2020 from a major insurer. Her expertise and dedication shine through as she expands her knowledge and delivers exceptional service, within the renewals team.
Bethany's previous role was an operational supervisor liaising with clients, brokers, and insurance companies on a daily basis. Bethany is new to underwriting and is excited to undertake her training at NBS.

Daniel, a valuable member since 2017, previously managed claims and underwriting queries. Now excelling in the renewals team, he brings expertise as an Underwriter to enhance the team's performance.

David Gribbon is the Lead Business Development Manager at NBS Underwriting. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, David brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. Recently gaining his CII qualification, he is dedicated to staying at the forefront of industry advancements. David's previous experience includes working with brokers across the UK and various sector specialisms at a Composite Insurer for over 10 years.
At NBS, he is responsible for liaising with brokers based in Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Northern England. David is committed to visiting and collaborating with our current and prospective broker partners, actively seeking their feedback to continuously enhance our proposition development and deliver the exceptional service our brokers expect.
Dawn brings 18 yrs of specialised marketing experience within the insurance industry. She's responsible for the management and implementation of all marketing and communication strategies & provides valuable support to the development team
Dawn possesses 18 years of extensive marketing expertise exclusively within the insurance sector. Her role at NBS involves overseeing and executing various marketing and communication strategies. This encompasses the management of the company's website, social media presence, and email campaigns. Dawn is also responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of all digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns and website management. Furthermore, she will handle press enquiries as part of her responsibilities.
Eleanor joined the New Business Team in Jan 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience in underwriting motor finance. Her expertise and industry insight make her a valuable addition to the Underwriting team.
Elisha joined us from a local broker situated near our Bexhill office. Elisha's extensive experience across various commercial and personal lines products offers the team valuable insights into broker operations, enriching our understanding
Emily joined the claims team at NBS, quickly becoming team leader. As well as claims knowledge she has underwriting experience which helps with her role..
Emma became a part of NBS in October 2023. Presently, she's undergoing training on SME products and is eager to broaden her understanding of underwriting.
Fern joined NBS in May 2022, bringing many years' customer service experience. She has become integral part of the team and is able to underwrite a wide range of underwriting risks.
After starting out in Underwriting in 2017 with NBS, Gary now takes on the role of Senior Schemes Developer, working on the maintenance and development of our online quoting portal.
George became a member of the renewals team in July '23. Currently, he is immersed in comprehensive training on our SME products and familiarising himself with the insurance operations at NBS.

Georgia previously worked as a Compliance Administrator for NBS and has now moved to the new business team to become an underwriter concentrating on SME risks.

In addition to his role at NBS, Ian serves as the National Forum Officer with the CII, where he previously held the position of president for Halifax CII. As an active council member, he focuses on the learning and development of CII members in Halifax and surrounding areas.

Jacob joined our underwriting team in January 2023. With over 5 years' experience in the hospitality sector, Jacob brings an advantageous insight into the SME products we offer. He is embracing developing his underwriting knowledge.

Lewis brings over 20 years of insurance experience, garnered from roles at Covea, Eaton Gate, and Arthur J Gallaghers. With a background in both commercial and high net worth, he boasts extensive market connections and relationships.
Liam brings over 15 years of experience in Commercial Underwriting, working in both existing and new business teams. Liam offers invaluable expertise across various commercial products and enjoys nurturing relationships with brokers.
Marcel is our claims administrator, supporting the claims department. His primary role revolves around assisting the claims team, playing a crucial part in ensuring its smooth and efficient operation.
Maya joined NBS in April '21, bringing financial sector experience to the role. She previously worked with the renewals team before transferring this knowledge to the new business team. She is currently pursuing her CII status.
Lisa-Marie, a skilled underwriter, joined NBS in April 2023. With experience as a liability agent and Cert CII qualification, she's excited to excel in underwriting property owners and household insurance policies.
Melissa has over a decade of experience in finance. She produces management accounts and other MI for the wider Accelerant group. She also works with our auditors and external parties across the finance function delivering information.
