NOVA IT SUPPORT - Key Persons
I enjoy working in IT because I find using my skills to help people very rewarding. While working at Nova I have acquired the MS900 certification, which has developed my administrative skills working with Microsoft 365, a core part of our service. I have also achieved the APM PFQ for Project Management, as planning and managing projects to completion being a significant part of my role at Nova. In my free time I enjoy hiking, playing video games and love home cooking.
I'm passionate about problem-solving and technology, which is why I'm thrilled to be a part of the Nova team providing support to all of our wonderful clients. Outside of work, you'll often find me experimenting with recipes or getting stuck into a strategy game. I also love spending time outdoors, exploring nature and seeking adventures.
Nova has been the perfect opportunity for me to learn more about the IT challenges that companies face. I find that helping people every day is rewarding and I am motivated to overcome newly discovered challenges. In my free time I enjoy watching films and sports. I also love going to the gym and walking my dog.
Since a young age I've always held an interest in IT and solving computer issues, so working at Nova has been a perfect fit for me. I hope to further develop my skills over time while working with the team. In my spare time I like to travel as much as possible, climb mountains, play video games with friends, and take my dog for long countryside walks.
Prior to co-founding Nova in 2018, I played a key role in revolutionising the way Microsoft Office 365 delivered support, with the primary objective being exceptional customer service. Having a wealth of experience being a technician myself, developing staff, and managing support teams, the role of Operations Director at Nova is a perfect fit. As of 2022 I'm also now excited to be the Operations Director of The Nebula Group and Polaris where I'm confident I'll gain even more experience in creating a truly industry-leading IT support service.
After graduating from Bristol University in Computer Systems Engineering, I started my career in London as a Junior IT Support Agent. Over 15 years I progressed rapidly, settling back in Bristol as Operations Director for an IT Service Provider and starting a family. In 2018, I took the leap into setting up my own business and, with Mike, I cofounded Nova.

Prior to joining Nova, I completed my studies in Computer Science, before commencing a 20-year career in the IT managed services provider sector. I quickly progressed from Account Manager to Sales Director, growing and establishing a digital services start-up serving the UK, with an aim to support scaling and growth.
With extensive experience partnering with SMEs, I am excited to see how Nova has excelled since its inception, by providing world-class support to its clients. I am extremely passionate about how I can support and develop Nova, improving efficiencies and scalability for the business while maintaining the high standards of client service that it is known and respected for.
