AVENUE TO ACHIEVEMENTS

This website is designed to train paraprofessionals in key knowledge and strategies used in a special education classroom everyday. I will be implementing this training with my paraprofessionals in Spring of 2021. After the implementation, I will enter information about the improvements in the classroom into this tab (About)... My first year as a teacher was great but difficult in so many ways. I had to navigate a new school, a new system, new students and new paraprofessionals. The year before I entered the classroom was difficult and the paraprofessionals had to take over the class until a permanent sub got there. They were put in a weird situation, so when I got there they were hesitant and unsure of what to think. They have been in the profession longer than me and I was fresh out of college.
