CHEF HAZELS

When it comes to food, Chef Latara's passion has always revolved around helping others and healthy living. Growing up in Albany, Georgia, she loved cooking for family and friends. Often using the things her mom grew in the garden or the wild animals her grandfather would bring home to create Southern staple dishes... Classically trained in cuisine and pastry disciplines at Le Cordon Blue Atlanta and still completing her Master's Degree in Nutrition, her thirst for knowledge is never-ending... Chef Latara has trained at restaurants in Georgia and Florida. She completed her internship at Disney World and went on to work at Orlando's famed Puff and Stuff catering company. She also has been featured in Marquis Who's Who multiple times and is ServSafe Certified and licensed in the state of Ga. She sponsors several sports teams in the Albany area, giving back to the community is among her many passions.
