As Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer, Amy supports Colton Alexander's legal day-to-day operations, investor relations, and risk assessment. She also works with Colton Alexander's clients to strengthen their legal operations and datarooms to build a more accurate valuation of the company while highlighting any potential legal issues that need to be resolved before a transaction. Unlike many attorneys specializing in one industry, Amy has spent 20+ years managing a broad range of legal affairs for local and global enterprises. She is the Founder of OutsideCLO, PC, a growing collection of former General Counsel who partner with industry-specific consultants and act as interim and fractional counsel to hyper-growth companies. Before OutsideCLO, Amy served as Chief Legal Officer of Rug Doctor, a global market leader in consumer carpet cleaning systems. Before Rug Doctor, Amy was General Counsel of Zimbra, Inc., a VMware product, and wholly responsible for all legal aspects of Zimbra's 100 million+ end users. Amy gained her financial experience during the ten years she spent as Assistant General Counsel of ORIX USA, a subsidiary of ORIX Corporation, which ranks 256 on the Forbes Global 2000: World's Largest Public Companies. At ORIX, Amy focused her practice on M&A, litigation, portfolio investments, and corporate compliance. Amy is also a member of the Texas and USPTO bars and on the Emerging Leaders Board of her alma mater, Southern Methodist University.

Steven Lehat - Managing Director

Steven Lehat is a Managing Director at Colton Alexander, LLC. Steven has worked in the technology and legal industry for over 30 years as a regulatory attorney, ESG Logistics Validation Specialist, Strategist, and Corporate Executive and brings deep technical, operational, and legal experience in the international trade, food safety compliance, and the ESG finance sectors. Steven is admitted as counsel in both California and Washington, D. C., a certified PCQI, and FSVP for food companies, both large and small. Steven is an expert in steel production and shepherds companies of all sizes on their ESG journeys. Previously Steven served as as guided energy infrastructure projects with decades of reach and directed long-term efforts culminating in authored legislation. Foreign governments have entrusted their accession to international organizations to his charge. Steven has a BBA in Finance from the University of Cincinnati and a JD from Southwestern University School of Law.
