Belinda Stubblefield

Belinda Stubblefield is the Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Belinda comes to CZI from Year Up, a national nonprofit focused on closing the opportunity divide for young adults, where she held senior leadership roles-most recently as Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships and previously as Chief Diversity Officer. She also led diversity initiatives at Nestlé and was Delta Air Lines' first VP of Global Diversity.

David Lee - Chief Investment Officer

As the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative's Chief Investment Officer, David Lee is responsible for managing CZI's investment portfolio, which funds the organization's efforts across Science, Education, and within our communities. David came to CZI from the Princeton University Investment Company where he worked on asset allocation and the marketable asset categories, including domestic equity, international equity, and independent return. Prior to Princeton, David worked at ABN AMRO in London. He earned a first-class honors degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of York (UK), holds an MS with Distinction specializing in Quantitative Finance from the University of Reading (UK), and received an MBA from the Yale School of Management. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Josué Estrada - COO

As Chief Operating Officer (COO), Josué Estrada serves as chief strategic advisor to CZI's co-founders and co-CEOs, and leads the organization's central and operational teams. Josué brings a wealth of organizational experience to CZI -- having served in senior business leader roles at multiple Fortune 500 technology, logistics, and consumer companies over the course of his career. Prior to CZI, Josué served as the Chief Operating Officer for Salesforce.org, responsible for the overall strategy of the organization during a time of significant growth. Josué has also held executive roles at a variety of companies including Gap Inc., DHL, and Procter & Gamble. Josué holds an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from Manchester Business School. He is a champion of diversity, equity and inclusion and sits on the Board of Directors of the YMCA of San Francisco.

Mark Kim - Chief Legal Officer

Mark Kim is the General Counsel for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Before joining CZI, Mark was a partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson, where he practiced corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate governance. While at MTO, Mark played an integral role in the structuring and establishment of both CZI and the CZ Biohub and represented CZI as its lead outside counsel. Mark received his law degree from Yale Law School, where he served as a student director for the Advocacy for Parents and Children legal clinic, and received his undergraduate degree in Biology and East Asian Studies from Harvard College. Following law school, Mark clerked for the Honorable Pamela Ann Rymer of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg is co-founder and co-CEO of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. As the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Meta, Mark brings a commitment to empowering people and building communities, and deep technical experience to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative's work. Mark studied computer science at Harvard University before moving to Palo Alto, California in 2004.

Patricia Brennan

Patricia Brennan is the Vice President of Science Technology at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Prior to joining CZI, Patricia held leadership roles at Clarivate and Thomson Reuters, where she led product design, product management, and platform development. She is also a product coach and advisor to individuals and organizations, where she assists them in honing and growing their product management practices. Patricia has an MS in Library and Information Science from the Catholic University of America and a BA in English Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Priscilla Chan

Priscilla Chan is co-founder and co-CEO of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. As a pediatrician and teacher, Priscilla's work with patients and students in communities across the Bay Area has informed her desire to make learning more personalized, find new paths to manage and cure disease, and expand opportunity for more people. She is also the founder of The Primary School, which integrates health and education and serves children and families in East Palo Alto and the Belle Haven neighborhood in Menlo Park, California. Priscilla earned her BA in Biology at Harvard University and her MD at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She completed her pediatrics training in the UCSF/PLUS Pediatrics Residency.

Sandra Liu Huang

Sandra Liu Huang is Head of Education and Vice President, Product at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Before joining CZI, she was the head of product at Quora, a platform for gaining and sharing knowledge, where she served as their first product manager and oversaw its growth to 100M monthly unique users. Sandra previously led product development in roles at Google and Facebook, where she managed complex, interdisciplinary teams building tools and products such as Google AdWords and Google AdSense. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Stanford University. She and her partner have three children.

Stephen Quake

Stephen Quake is Head of Science at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, where he oversees CZI's science grant programs, technology development, and the CZ Biohub Network. His contributions to science are varied and include invention of the biological equivalent of the integrated circuit, development of whole organism cell atlases, and creation of diagnostics that have made medicine safer by replacing invasive biopsies such as amniocentesis with simple blood tests. Steve has received numerous awards for his discoveries and has been elected to several scientific honorary societies, including the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, The National Academy of Medicine and the National Academy of Inventors. He has published more than 300 papers which have been cumulatively cited more than 100,000 times. Steve also holds a faculty position at Stanford University, where he is the Lee Otterson Professor of Bioengineering and Applied Physics. Previously he was the founding co-president of the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub (2016-2022), investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (2006-2016), and professor at the California Institute of Technology
