Bob Jones - Managing Director

Bob has over thirty years of experience in providing equity capital markets advice to C-suite and Board members across all phases of the corporate lifecycle. He has been a trusted strategic advisor to executive management teams from pre-public and public companies to create and execute financial communications programs that enhance shareholder value and management reputation. He has substantial in-house and consulting experience providing strategic communications counsel on investor relations related issues, including corporate positioning, transactions, investment community engagement and crisis management. Bob served as Partner and CEO of Morgen-Walke Associates, a large financial advisory communications firm in the US. He also created and led the investor relations position at Monster.com, a digital recruitment pioneer, and was the Company's chief spokesperson and a member of the Executive Committee. Bob started his career as a researcher in the Market Development division at the American Stock Exchange. Bob is a native New Yorker and earned his MBA from Pace University - Lubin School of Business and a BA in Marketing Management from Baruch College, CUNY. He is active in local charity and civic causes and is a member of the Board of Directors of Alpine Learning Group, a leading non-profit special education school serving individuals with autism.

Clara Pyo

Clara Pyo advises corporate clients on their communications strategies including public positioning and media relations. She has extensive experience in shaping corporate narrative and messaging, while developing an integrated communications strategy that aligns directly with business objectives. As a communications consultant, Clara partners with companies on message and story development, executive visibility and thought leadership, media relations, reputation management and internal messaging. She has advised a range of innovative companies across the media, entertainment, technology and retail sectors. Before she began her work in corporate communications consulting, Clara oversaw communications for Bloomberg Media, Bloomberg LP's global media division. She served as an advisor to the CEO and the executive leadership team, spearheading creative communications strategies to elevate the brand during its most pivotal growth period. She led the communications for the launch of several key initiatives including Bloomberg Quicktake, a global streaming and social news network, and Bloomberg,com's digital subscription and paywall service. Prior to Bloomberg, Clara was Managing Director at a boutique public relations agency representing B2B and consumer lifestyle clients.

Jeff Majtyka - President

Jeff founded Ellipsis in 2015 to elevate the strategic role of financial communications advisory. Throughout Jeff's IR career he has counseled founders, the C-suite, IR & communications teams and Boards of Directors on matters vital to market valuation and corporate reputation, including IPOs, friendly and contested M&A transactions, proxy fights, business transformations and other critical events. Over nearly three decades he has served as a trusted advisor to companies at every stage of the corporate lifecycle, from start-ups and pre-IPOs to foundational leaders including Facebook, Google, Tesla, Lam Research, MGM Studios, Micron Technology, Pixar Animation Studios and dozens more. Jeff is known for creating compelling narrative, his collaborative, strategic approach to client engagements and providing straight, actionable advice. A former financial and regulatory reporter, Jeff earned his B.A. from The College of William & Mary and his M.B.A. from William & Mary's Mason School of Business.

Lauren Buday

Lauren joined Ellipsis as an Associate. She supports client engagements cross-sector, focusing on managing Wall Street communication and events, quarterly earnings reporting, shareholder intelligence and trend monitoring, while also contributing to the firm's growth by supporting strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Ellipsis, Lauren worked at a strategic advisory firm, where she consulted clients on various financial matters, developed industry leading Investor Days and assisted in investment thesis development. Lauren helped C-Suite level executives effectively tell their story to the institutional investment community. Lauren holds a B.A. in Economics and Corporate Communication from Marquette University.

Sophia Suarez - VP

Sophia is a communications and marketing professional with over 12 years of experience in financial institutions. She empowers organizations to communicate their stories, connect with their stakeholders, shape critical conversations in their markets, and measure their impact and influence. Her superpower is presenting complex information to diverse audiences. Sophia started her career on Wall Street, first as an equity research associate at Morgan Joseph covering the TMT sector, then as an institutional equity salesperson, where she consistently grew revenues by understanding different clients' needs and delivering tailored solutions. Before joining Ellipsis in 2022, Sophia provided marketing and communications consulting in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, where she developed organizations' branding, website content, and marketing materials; strategic planning and messaging; and public and media relations efforts. As a huge fan of creative problem-solving, Sophia enjoys brainstorming and writing about startup ideas. She is also passionate about financial education and literacy. Sophia has a Bachelor's degree in finance and economics from MIT and a Master's degree in behavioral marketing from the Yale School of Management.

Taylor Krafchik - VP

Taylor joined Ellipsis' New York office in 2016 and brings a strong background in IR program development from leading consulting firms, with experience in messaging and story development, IPO support, M&A transactions, and activism and proxy advisory. At Ellipsis, Taylor is responsible for client program management as well as helping coordinate the firm's market intelligence and business development activities. During his career, Taylor has supported a diverse group of companies across a broad range of sectors including Technology, Industrials, Consumer and Real Estate. Taylor earned his B.S. from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.
