The Energy Academy Europe building, located on the Zernike Campus in Groningen, provides an inspiring environment where industry, education and academia come together to advance the energy transition. The unique design demonstrates how a building can make optimum use of the natural elements earth, water, air and sunlight as a primary source of energy. The building has a BREEAM rating of "Outstanding", which sets extremely high standards for sustainability and energy consumption... The founding partners of New Energy Coalition are University of Groningen, Hanze University of Applied Sciences, NAM, Energie Beheer Nederland (EBN), Gasunie and GasTerra.
