DANIEL T. WATTS

Daniel Watts is a shareholder and attorney in the Litigation Team at G10 Law. He is certified as a California Appellate Specialist - a designation earned by only .016% of California attorneys. Before joining the firm, Mr. Watts practiced civil litigation in state and federal court at both the trial and appellate level. He is admitted to all four federal courts in California, California's state courts, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. His past cases included civil rights and business disputes, employment and labor violations, landlord-tenant issues, tort claims, and administrative trials. He has advised startup companies in the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento, helping companies incorporate, issue stock options to employees, and negotiate with investors. Mr. Watts received his J.D. from UC Davis School of Law in 2011, where he was an editor on the UC Davis Law Review and a member of the governing board of the Appellate Advocacy program - also known as "moot court." He served simultaneously as president of the campus ACLU and Federalist Society chapters, often pitting the two organizations against each other in head-to-head debates. Before coming to law school, Mr. Watts graduated from UC San Diego with a B.A. in Political Science and History, after which he taught English in Japan on the JET Programme. While a 20-year-old undergraduate, he ran for California governor in the 2003 recall election against Arnold Schwarzenegger and Gray Davis. In his free time, he mentors college newspaper editors on free speech and journalism issues.

Georgia Z. Schneider

Georgia Z. Schneider is a shareholder and head of the Litigation Team at G10 Law. Ms. Schneider represents clients in a wide range of disputes with an emphasis on real estate and business disputes. Ms. Schneider has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, from commencement through achieving a favorable settlement or result at arbitration or trial. Ms. Schneider is also a licensed California real estate broker, which allows her to bring unique insight to the handling of real estate matters. Prior to joining G10 Law, Ms. Schneider was an associate at the Ponist Law Group in San Diego where her practice focused on real estate and business disputes and she represented clients in state and federal court as well as arbitration tribunals. Ms. Schneider's past cases include commercial real estate contract disputes, real estate failure to disclose, real estate brokerage and agent breach of fiduciary duty, and commercial unlawful detainers. Prior to joining the Ponist Law Group, Ms. Schneider was an associate at Morgan Lewis in Los Angeles where she handled complex litigation and class actions in state and federal courts, with an emphasis on commercial disputes, toxic tort claims, and unfair competition and false advertising claims. Ms. Schneider is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central and Northern District of California and all state courts of California. Ms. Schneider graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southwestern Law School where she served as the Notes and Comments editor for the Southwestern Law Review, and was a member of the Interscholastic Trial Advocacy Team. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Schneider graduated Cum Laude from UCLA with a B.A. in Psychology. Ms. Schneider is actively involved in the San Diego legal community and a member of the North County Bar Association and Lawyer's Club. She also provides scholarly lectures to the legal community, most recently being invited to present a Lorman live webinar on "Rescission of Real Estate Contracts." Ms. Schneider's article, "No Fundamental Right to a View," was also recently published in the Daily Journal, Land Use, Real Estate, 2018.

JARED M. SALVATI

Jared Salvati is an associate attorney in the litigation practice group at G10 Law. Mr. Salvati represents clients in a wide range of disputes with an emphasis on real estate and business disputes. Prior to joining G10 Law, Mr. Salvati worked on the legal team for California Receivership Group, B.C. which specialized in health and safety receiverships and oversaw the entirety of the property rehabilitation process, including the accompanying financial and real estate complexities. Contrastingly, Jared has professional experience within multiple facets of the music industry which complements his legal experience with, and academic interest in, intellectual property in the entertainment industries. Mr. Salvati is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before all state courts of California. Jared graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2020 with a concentration in International Law; having attended under the Dean's Outstanding Scholarship. He served as the Chief Articles Editor on the Journal of Climate and Energy Law and oversaw the editing and publication process of all articles in the 2019 editorial cycle. Prior to law school, Jared attended and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California in 2015 with a degree in International Relations Global Business and a minor in Music Industry Business. During his time at USD and USC, he sought out international academic experiences which included Arctic climate research and its impact on geo-politics of the region, legal coursework in London concerning international finance and emerging markets, and legal coursework in Paris focusing on international intellectual property. Jared is a San Diego native, having grown up in Del Mar and currently residing in Pacific Beach.

LOUIS A. GALUPPO

Mr. Galuppo served as the Director of the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego ("USD"). He has taught Legal Aspects of Real Estate in the School of Business Administration at USD as a professor starting in 1998. In 2004, in the Masters of Science of Real Estate ("MSRE") he started teaching Real Estate Law, Ethics and Public Policy. Also in the MSRE program, Mr. Galuppo taught Real Estate Transactions and the Land Use Process.

ROBERT J. BERTON

Mr. Berton, a native Southern Californian, has been a trained mediator since 1997 and a practicing attorney in San Diego for nearly five decades. He has vast expertise in the areas of commercial and residential real estate purchase/sale transactions, leasing, land development, construction defect, estate planning, and probate and trust law. Since 1979, Mr. Berton has been peer rated by Martindale-Hubbell at AV, which is the highest rating possible. Throughout his career, Mr. Berton has held a Certificate of Specialization from the California State Bar in Probate, Trust, and Estate Planning. Additionally, he has a long track record of successfully representing clients in mediation, arbitration, and civil court litigation. In 1997 and 2007, Mr. Berton received Mediation Skills training from the National Conflict Resolution Center and has served as a Superior Court Arbitrator. He is also a former Mediator for the American Arbitration Association in Probate and Trust matters with an 80% resolution rate in cases conducted. Mr. Berton received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1959. Subsequently he received his Juris Doctor in 1962 from UCLA School of Law. In 1963 he attended the University of Southern California (USC) School of Law for post graduate legal studies. He was appointed by the Governor of California to serve on the California Law Revision Commission, and was elected its Chairman. He is a past President of the Jewish Family Service of San Diego, the Jewish Community Center of San Diego, and Congregation Beth Israel of San Diego. He is a widower with four adult children and six grandchildren.

RYAN J. HENDRY

Ryan Hendry is an associate attorney in the litigation practice group at G10 Law. Mr. Hendry represents clients in a wide range of disputes with an emphasis on real estate and business disputes. Prior to joining G10 Law, Mr. Hendry worked as an international tax associate, advising multinational corporations on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions and IP migrations and licensing agreements. Mr. Hendry is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before all state courts of California. Ryan graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2020 with a concentration in Business Litigation, Tax Law, Bankruptcy and Corporate Law. He served as the Vice President of the Tax Law Society. While in law school, Ryan served as Law Clerk for the United State Senate Committee on Finance in Washington, D.C. He graduated with honors from the University of Oregon with a degree in Economics. When he is not practicing law, Ryan enjoys golfing, surfing and training for marathons.

Shadee Duarte

Shadee Duarte is a senior associate attorney in the litigation practice group at G10 Law, representing clients in real estate and business disputes. With almost ten years of legal experience, Ms. Duarte's areas of practice include civil and real estate litigation, with a niche in Mobilehome Residency Law. Managing an extensive case load, Ms. Duarte prevailed on 100% of unlawful detainer trials litigated in 2021; 99% of cases litigated in 2020 and a 100% of cases litigated in 2019. Prior to her practice in civil litigation, Ms. Duarte was an associate attorney for Stepp Law Corporation, where she practiced in corporate securities and business law. While pursuing her studies, Ms. Duarte also worked for a member of congress in Washington D.C. where she assisted in researching, analyzing, and drafting proposed legislation. Ms. Duarte is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before all state courts of California. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Western State College of Law, graduating with Scholastic Merit and a certificated study in business law. She graduated with a B.A. from the University of California at Irvine, Deans Honor List.
