Aled Davies

Aled is responsible for the effective delivery of People Services at Hafan Cymru. This includes Human Resources, Health and Safety, Business Governance and Assurance, Training, IT and Customer Services. He ensures that the right people with the right skills and behaviours are in place to meet the needs of our clients and colleagues. He is supported by a great team of specialists who provide advice, guidance and support to the business. Aled has over 30 years' experience leading teams across HR and Organisational Development in the private and public sector. With a Masters in HR and as a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, Aled brings broad and valuable experience and expertise to Hafan Cymru. "I believe that the quality and capability of our people sets us apart as a business. Ensuring that we attract, develop and retain the right people is a priority, along with employee engagement and wellbeing. I have a passion for making a difference and my role at Hafan Cymru definitely enables me to do this, benefiting our people, our clients and the organisation."

Amie Chapman

Amie is a qualified accountant who has worked in financial roles for over 14 years - including seven years in social housing. Amie currently works as a Senior Management Accountant for Tai Calon Community Housing, where she's responsible for assets and housing. Amie can be relied on to get the job done and deliver great results. She provides the financial data, support and reporting needed to help with important business decisions. She loves a challenge and is passionate about continuous improvement and delivering value for money.

Andrew Jones

Andrew heads our Business Development Department and sets the course for all our business development, commercial, and marketing and communications plans. Prior to joining us, Andrew was the Business Development Manager for Dimensions Cymru and the Wales Co-operative Centre. He is a successful business development expert who excels in delivering continued and sustainable business growth.

Bill Walden-Jones

Bill has worked in the charity sector throughout his career. He's had roles in the Citizens Advice Bureau, NACRO, and for 11 years until 2014 he was Chief Executive of Welsh mental health charity Hafal, where he still works part-time as a senior consultant. Bill is also a trustee of Bipolar UK. In 2015 he was awarded an MBE for services to mental health service users and carers.

Christian Davies

Christian is a commercial solicitor with over 16 years' experience. He currently works as a Senior Legal Counsel for a leading publically listed consulting, transformation and digital services business. Christian previously worked for Blake Morgan in Cardiff, where his clients included Welsh Government, Health Boards, NWIS, charities, social landlords and universities.

Deb Barrow

Deb is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and runs her own HR Consultancy based in Carmarthenshire. With a career spanning public, private, and charity sectors she has written and implemented Equality Schemes for West Mercia Police and Probation Services along with leading on domestic abuse, community engagement and employability projects. She continues with lecturing undergraduates and mentoring young entrepreneurs within the Swansea University and business communities.

Gareth Clubb

During his career, Gareth's commitment to social justice has seen him work in international development, environment and politics. Working to bring about change from grassroots level through to policy level, he has extensive experience of leadership, transforming organisations, communication, and policy. Gareth is a former Director of Friends of the Earth Cymru and Chief Executive of Plaid Cymru. He now leads on climate change action for Bridgend County Borough Council.

Hugh Irwin - Chairman

Hugh is the Managing Director of HICO, a Wales based consultancy that provides a wide range of practical help, advice and support options primarily to public sector and not for profit organisations including the NHS, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Care & Support Providers and charities (https://hico.wales). He is a registered social worker and executive coach and has a long history of supporting organisations and sectors to develop innovative strategies and approaches that tackle inequalities across a broad spectrum of topics from homelessness to access to social care and health inequalities. He brings with him a broad understanding of the public policy agenda with a focus on housing and social care; experience of helping leaders navigate complex systems through the lens of their citizens; and connecting people, organisations and agendas across the public and third sector services.

Jamie Edwards

Jamie is a highly experienced Company Director and Prince2 qualified Project Manager who runs a specialist bid writing consultancy and a civil engineering business specialising in road maintenance. Jamie has over 25 years' experience in helping organisations successfully tender for over £100 million of contracts in the public, private and non-profit sectors. In that time, Jamie has worked closely with the likes of Welsh Government, local authorities in Wales, NHS Wales and a broad range of clients including Cardiff Metropolitan University, CBRE, Siemens, Pembrokeshire College, Proactis and many more. Jamie is a highly experienced business strategist who has helped shape the competitive offering of many organisations in Wales, the UK and overseas.

John Morgan - CEO

John is a retired NHS Chief Executive and a former Medical Director and Consultant Psychiatrist. He has proven leadership and strategic planning skills and is also an experienced executive coach.

Julie Phillips

Julie leads on the development and delivery of Hafan Cymru's Financial Strategic Plan. Julie is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 30 years' experience in finance accounting. She started her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) before moving to a senior management role in the housing sector from early 2000. "I believe that by achieving strong, robust finances, and delivering effective housing management, we can deliver excellent services to the people we support."

Necia Lewis

Necia is responsible for the development and delivery of all commissioned services in South Wales. She ensures that we provide high quality service to our clients, in line with our contractual requirements. Necia's background was originally working with children, young people and their families in a variety of settings. She has over 16 years' experience in VAWDASV (violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence) related issues, homelessness prevention and intervention. "I am very proud to work for an organisation that puts clients at the heart of everything we do, making a significant positive impact in the lives of those we support and their families."

Sara Sutton

As Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive, Sara's main role is to help the Chief Executive and the Board of Management with day-to-day matters. She also works closely with the Executive Team and members of the Senior Management Team. Sara has been supporting Hafan Cymru's Chief Executives since she joined the organisation in 2008. Prior to Hafan Cymru, Sara supported NHS managers as a personal assistant.

Sharon Smith

Sharon is responsible for the development and delivery of all our services in North Wales and Housing Management Strategic Plan.. She ensures that our services continue to meet our contractual, financial and quality standards. Sharon has over 26 years' experience within the domestic abuse and safeguarding sector, and she brings with her a whole host of knowledge and skills gained throughout her career. "I feel extremely proud to be part of Hafan Cymru's growth. I believe that the commitment and dedication of our teams in making a difference is the heart of the organisation, focusing on the positives of what individuals can achieve, and planning for a brighter future."

Shone Hughes

Shone is the Chief of Staff for the University of Wales and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and works across South Wales. He has broad career experience, having worked for UK-wide companies including NatWest and ITV, and for various public sector organisations such as the Legal Services Commission and BNFL (Magnox). He's highly experienced in communications and excels at driving and shaping change in organisations and getting everyone involved and interested. We also value his ability to build and grow partnerships. Shone's first language is Welsh. He was born on Anglesey, and now spends his time between Carmarthenshire and Cardiff.

Sian Morgan

Sian has been our Chief Executive since January 2016 and is responsible for organising and putting into action the business' long- and short-term plans on behalf of the Board of Management, while also acting as a direct link between the Board, the Executive Team and employees within the business. Sian's career has spanned over 40 years and she's worked in a variety of government agencies and private sector organisations, specialising in growing and developing organisations, building partnerships and getting more people involved. "I am extremely proud of Hafan Cymru. We deliver much-needed services across Wales, supporting people facing challenging situations including crisis. Our teams are committed and loyal, prepared to face any challenge. We value the voice of the people we support and my goal for the business is to continue to improve overall efficiencies and grow our services while keeping people at the heart of all we do."

Stacey Anastasi

Stacey has worked in housing for 12 years, specialising in housing management, welfare reform and strategic housing positions. Stacey has a real passion for ensuring that everyone lives in a safe and secure home and has opportunities to learn, develop and better themselves. Stacey currently works for Cadwyn Housing Association as the Housing Manager, and previously worked for First Choice Housing and Cardiff Council. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and has a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Housing Policy and Practice.

Suki Collins

Suki is a Global 500 Influential Leader, an award-winning Business Coach and an accredited Executive Coach. As the founder and director of Pebbles Systemic Coaching, Suki draws on and leverages over 20 years' experience of Senior Human Resources management roles within higher education organisations primarily in the Medical Schools and Finance sectors, including supporting a medical school's growth income from £7M to £28M over 10 years. She has worked as a coach since 1997. She is a specialist on Human Resources, Management Development and Organisational Change. The focus of her Systemic Coaching work is to support individuals, teams and organisations to achieve their full potential. Suki enjoys working with CEOs, Senior Management and leaders in STEMM and has seen the ROI of the positive impact that Systemic Coaching makes at all levels. Suki still works for the University on a part-time basis as a Staff Engagement Officer/Executive Coach, a role created to provide support amidst major transformational change, including increased student numbers and leadership change.
