Erica King founded King's sweets in 2017, This business has been a dream of co-owner Derek King since he was a child. His maternal grandfather was an ice cream truck owner, and his maternal grandmother would make candy and sweets from scratch. Derek's paternal grandmother was an extraordinary baker, she inspired our most popular cupcake flavor "Granny's Red Velvet.".
All these things ignite his passion for sweets and candy making. He was inspired by his grandparents' love of sweets and decided he wanted to continue with their legacy and to keep the talent going to leave a legacy for our future children. His wife and co-owner Erica King decided to help make his dream a reality.
