Lewis Girls' is an 11-18 comprehensive school and currently has 680 students. The school is situated in Ystrad Mynach, but attracts students from a much wider catchment area of approximately 40 square miles. These students attend the school as a result of parents exercising their right of choice of school. Lewis Girls' and Lewis School Pengam have close links with each other and with our nine partner primary schools. We also benefit from our collaboration with Heolddu, Idris Davies and Coleg Y Cymoedd. These links enable a reciprocal broadening of subject choices for all 6th Form students in the four schools.
