As a young boy, Michael Murphy became interested in hunting while living on a farm near Abilene, Kansas. In 1964, he began shooting competitively & selling firearms as a hobby. Michael obtained his Federal Firearm's License in 1974, & opened a small shop in the corner of a limestone barn... The business expanded in 1988 to include the very first Sporting Clay Range in the state of Kansas, complete with 10 hand traps. The shop also hosted the first Governor's Turkey Hunt Sporting Clay Shoot & was selected as the first Beretta Premium Dealer in the United States. Michael made a name for himself as a custom gun fitter and Master Instructor throughout the United States...
