Laura Ulisse

Laura Ulisse has been a Casa Directress since 2015. She has experience working with children from ages 18 months all the way to 10 years old. Her responsibilities in the past have included running an after school program that accommodated over 50 children of all age groups. After working in a traditional school setting, Laura yearned for something which was more physically, mentally and socially challenging and stimulating for young children. Once she was introduced to the Montessori method, Laura decided to take her training at the prestigious Maria Montessori Institute in London, England known for its exceptional teacher trainers. There, Laura earned her AMI diploma which qualifies her to teach children between the ages of 2 1/2- 6 years. First and foremost, she is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children. Michael Madeley - Founder

He received his Masters Degree in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario in 1979. After years of professional writing, he decided that working with and teaching children was something he wanted to explore. He received his A.M.I. diploma in 1994 and after teaching students ages 6 to 9 for over 10 years became the Elementary principal. Michael has always been committed to supporting excellence in the Montessori community. To that end, he has served on the Board of the Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators holding a variety of positions including Chairman. CCMA works very closely with the Ministry of Education and during his years on the Board, Michael learned a great deal. Trish Iesse Delle Donne

Trish started working with children in 1992 after completing her ECE At Seneca College. After working in daycares, running camps and programs (ages 3 months to 12 years) for a few years she decided she needed something more challenging. In 1997 she completed her AMI training at The Foundation for Montessori in Toronto and began her career as a Montessori directress. In recent years she has worked as a Supply Teacher, a tutor and as an Educational Assistant for special needs children These opportunities gave her valuable experiences in working In many different Montessori settings across the GTA with children of all ages. This allowed her to broaden her repertoire as well as inspiring innovative ways to support the individual needs of the children. Trish has faith in each and every child and believes they can all reach their full potentially no matter what obstacles they may face. Wayne Meade

After an early profession as a piano accompanist culminated in a tour of Europe with the Canadian Welsh Singers, Wayne began to focus on another life passion; teaching music. Wayne was once asked why he made the transition from music performance to the music classroom. His reply? "Music is the universal language of communication. The classroom is not far removed from the concert hall in terms of sharing music with others. However, children often have the gift of understanding music at a much deeper level, which is evident in their unbelievable creativity on and off the stage." Wayne is a Ontario certified teacher in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. He received his Bachelor of Music Education degree in 1992, and his Bachelor of Education degree in 1993. When Wayne is not teaching music in the afternoon, he is the school librarian for the Elementary helping students with their research. Working under the supervision of the teaching staff, Wayne assists students who need remedial help. After 18 years, Meadesmith School of Music and Drama has grown to include not only piano lessons, but guitar, band/vocal tutoring, musical theatre after-school and camp programs. Since 1999, Wayne has been providing a musical classroom environment at ML Montessori Schools Inc. which nurtures musical creativity in children.
