Angela Clarkson

Angela is our investment associate, and is responsible for trade execution and account rebalancing. As the team's senior associate, she utilizes her skills for more complex administrative issues, process management and mentoring. Angela joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2004 and holds a Bachelor of Economics from Carleton University. Born in Prince Edward Island, she was raised in Ottawa where she continues to reside. Angela stays connected to PEI through her annual summer vacations at the family cottage. Being a music lover, Angela has been involved with community choirs much of her life. She enjoys reading, meditation, genealogy and spending time with family.

April Short

April is our administrative associate, and supports our team as the first point of contact in the administrative process. This includes new account opening, documentation preparation, transaction processing and client inquiries. April joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2015 after graduating from Brock University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Originally from Hamilton, April moved to Ottawa upon completing her undergraduate degree, and enjoys the beauty and culture of the city. She loves to read, preferring the fantasy genre and classic fiction, and thoroughly enjoys cinema and catching up on the latest films. Together with her husband, young son and their black Labrador Clover, April enjoys travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Charles-Antoine Rozon

Charles-Antoine was a partner with a big four accounting firm with over 20 years of experience providing accounting, personal and corporate tax compliance and income tax planning advice to private businesses in the Ottawa area. His bilingual practice served both private companies and family businesses across the Ottawa region with a passion for teaching financial literacy and ensuring his clients got to financial independence. He draws on his vast knowledge of Canada's entrepreneurial landscape in order to ensure our team consistently delivers on our promise to help make our clients' personal and corporate portfolios better. Charles-Antoine is very active in his community and is currently a board member for the CHEO foundation. He co-created the Jaza Endowment Fund, and was part of the major gift committee for CHEO which raised $5 million for Project Stitch. Charles-Antoine and his spouse Sherry enjoy spending their spare time with their daughters and dog Jaza. Together they enjoy participating in many sports activities which include downhill skiing, water skiing, basketball, soccer and hockey.

Erin Rogers

Erin supports our team with the day-to-day client service requests, from account opening, booking client reviews, transaction processing and other client service activities and inquiries. Erin is a 2022 graduate from Queen's University where she received a Bachelor of Arts for Health Studies and Psychology. After graduation she joined RBC Dominion Securities working on the Branch Operations team where she focused on internal compliance, maintaining client accounts and processing transactions. As a new associate on our team, she is eager to gain a deeper understanding of the business and further her education in finance. Erin was born and raised in Ottawa and spent most of her earlier years in competitive dance, mainly jazz ballet, and contemporary dance. These days she enjoys traveling, trying new recipes in the kitchen, reading non-fiction, and spending time with family and friends. In her lifetime Erin hopes to see the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Julie Fortin

Julie Fortin has over 25 years of financial industry experience and began working with RBC Dominion Securities in 1997, after having spent 6 years with RBC Royal Bank. Julie graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1995 with a Bachelor of Commerce, and is fully bilingual. Julie's main focus is to ensure that every client receives the best Wealth Management Service experience. This includes guiding clients through our comprehensive financial planning process, as well as facilitating insurance reviews and will & estate consultations with our in-house experts. She will also be meeting with, helping, and supporting a number of clients, working closely with Patricia and Charles-Antoine. Julie brings a high level of client service & administrative experience to our clients and managerial experience to our team through her tenure with RBC DS and from her prior role as a Branch Operations Manager. She is a National Branch Operations Manager winner, recognizing hard work, determination and excellence across the entire firm. Julie grew up in a small town in Eastern Ontario, and currently resides in the Ottawa region with her husband. They have two young adult children. She enjoys long walks with her much-loved Miniature Pinscher "Cooper", curling, travelling and spending quality time with her family and friends at the cottage.

Kirstyn Townsend

Kirstyn supports our team with the day-to-day client service requests, from account opening, booking client reviews, transaction processing and other client service activities and inquiries. Kirstyn has been at RBC Dominion Securities since 2023 bringing 3 years of experience from another Financial Institution in Ottawa. Kirstyn graduated from Nipissing University with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration - Finance from Algonquin College. Born in Ottawa, Kirstyn moved to Gatineau where she was raised. She relocated to Ottawa in 2017 to start her college education. Kirstyn loves the sun, reading, gardening and going to the gym. In her free time, she uses her green thumb to care for her many plants, successfully completes Escape Rooms with friends, and spends time with her two cats, Nova and Tessa.

Patricia Cullen

Patricia has over 25 years of experience in financial services and joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2011. She started her advising career at MD Management where she has specialized in financial planning for physicians and their family members. Since joining RBC Dominion Securities, Patricia's clientele includes high net worth health care professionals, esteemed members of the Public Service of Canada, athletes, retirees and business owners, among others. She is a licensed life insurance agent, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Senior Portfolio Manager (CIM), and holds the charter of Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). Patricia graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, and is fully bilingual. Patricia believes that every client's portfolio must be supported by a financial plan. She works with her clients' accountants and lawyers to ensure that every detail in the plan is fully established, monitored and implemented. She has been fortunate to have had long working relationships with some families for over 20 years. In her personal time, Patricia volunteers with various charitable organizations and supports many of them, such as the Ottawa Hospital, the Royal Ottawa, the Humane Society of Ottawa and the Shepherds of Good Hope. Patricia enjoys travelling and spending time at the family cottage with her spouse, Paul, and her two children, Natasha and Alex. Understanding the importance of mental and physical health, Patricia works with a personal trainer and makes time for preserving her mental health. During the pandemic, Patricia gained an appreciation for the art of gardening and dog training, however she is looking forward to hiring a gardener and dog trainer as we return to work.

Saba Abid

Saba is our client experience associate and supports our team in the client review process, liaising with accountants, Wealth Management online and other client service activities. Saba joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2019. Saba is a CFA level 3 candidate with a magna cum laude and summa cum laude in her MBA and BBA respectively from Bahria University in Islamabad, Pakistan. She worked for an asset management firm in Pakistan before moving to Ottawa to join her husband where she is enjoying the beauty and diversity of the city. Saba is an avid reader, a gym fanatic and loves to spend time with her husband and family. Saba strongly believes that every individual in his capacity needs to make a difference in the world by giving back to society, and is herself trying to make a difference in children's education by supporting different charities.
