Dr. Adam Weitzman

Adam Weitzman, MD, is a Pain Management physician who practices in Newport Beach, California. He is double board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Weitzman earned his medical degree and graduated with honors from the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City. He then completed an internship at the University of Pennsylvania before completing a residency in anesthesiology at Temple University, both in Philadelphia. Afterward, he finished an ACGME recognized fellowship in pain management at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in New York City, where he served as chief fellow. He focuses on state-of-the-art therapies for acute and chronic pain. Dr. Weitzman uses a multidisciplinary approach that includes chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage therapy, stem cell therapy, and interventional pain techniques. His goal is to identify and eliminate the causes of pain that don't respond to a single method of treatment so patients can live pain-free.

Dr. Jonathan Frank

It's important to me to be able to provide comprehensive care to the patients of OC Alliance Medical Group. I believe in minimally invasive surgery because the body has an incredible ability to heal itself if given the right tools. OC Alliance Medical Group gives me so many more options and I can ensure they will stay well long after surgery. Dr. Jonathan Frank, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive, arthroscopic knee, shoulder, hip, and elbow surgery. He provides comprehensive care to patients at OC Alliance Medical Group, with three Los Angeles locations in Newport Beach, California. Dr. Frank has a special interest in caring for athletes and is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and joint preservation surgery. Originally from Southern California, Dr. Frank attended the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with degrees in history as well as molecular, cell, and developmental biology. He also minored in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures. While he was an undergraduate, his research was published in multiple scientific journals, and upon graduating, he completed another year of research in the Department of Neurology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Afterward, he earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where he presented his research at orthopedic conferences both regionally and nationally. Dr. Frank completed his orthopedic residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and cared for athletes on professional teams, such as the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bulls. While a resident, he was selected for the American Orthopaedic Association Emerging Leaders Forum. He then completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado. There, he helped treat athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and MLS. He is currently a member of the medical staff for the US Ski and Snowboarding Teams. He has published book chapters and scientific articles and is a scientific reviewer for top peer-reviewed scientific journals. In addition, his research has been presented domestically and internationally at orthopedic conferences and won several awards, including the Mark Coventry award. Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Frank enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and stand-up paddle boarding.

Dr. Pranay Patel

Dr. Pranay Patel, M.D. is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon. His focus and practice philosophy lies specifically in minimally invasive surgical techniques and spinal motion preservation. Due to advances in his minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Patel performs most of his surgeries in an outpatient setting and patients typically go home the same day as the surgery. After a thorough examination and review of pertinent imaging, Dr. Patel will help his patients understand their problem and he provides them with treatment option tailored to their individual needs and lifestyle goals. When indicated, Dr. Patel aims to begin with the least invasive/non-surgical solutions first. If surgery is necessary, many spinal procedures can be performed with a small incision and visualized in 4K resolution through a digital microscope. Dr. Patel is the author of several book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles on spine conditions and surgical techniques. He prides himself in staying at the forefront of spinal care by being actively engaged in clinical research and advances in technology.

With her experience and expertise, Pelin, helps to create an environment for our ambulatory surgery center where patient safety, efficiencies and quality of care are paramount. Pelin has helped ameliorate the patient experience for our practice and continues to find ways to continue to do so on a daily basis.
