For those of you discovering us for the first time, Primate Recordings is a U.K based record label, specializing in dance music, specifically 'Techno'. Although based in the U.K, Primate Recordings releases and showcases music from producers based all around the world... 2015 see's the re-launch of the label. Set up in 1996, we have released over 100 singles on the main 'Primate Recordings' label, as well as having released compilation cd's, DJ mixed cd's, and developed a whole family of associated labels and sub-labels, most notably 'Primevil Recordings', 'Primary 'Recordings', 'Premier Sounds', 'Primate Endangered Species', Primate 10" Series', and Ape Recordings'... As with in the past, we will be working with both artists who are already established, and also lesser known or relative newcomers to the scene.
