In 1990 Robert moved to Somerset West, South Africa. Employment with the local Volkswagen dealership, an independent workshop, ownership of a petrol station was followed by the founding of Robert's Car Repairs in 1995. Until 2015 Robert successfully conducted business, servicing, repairing and overhauling passenger cars and LDV's of individuals and companies. In these 20 years, Robert established himself as a competent, quality-minded and honest automotive specialist, with a loyal clientele that included up to four generations of happy customers of the same family... After a temporary career change, Robert found back to his roots and re-established Robert's Car Repairs in 2022, still offering competence, quality and honesty as the cornerstones of his business.
