LENA ADU-KOFI - CEO

Lena has implemented a Strategic Management Plan to improve the long-term competitive advantage and growth of SIBL in the insurance broking industry. She has a vast experience in client facing roles and broking within the London and International Market and is able to provide a wide range of technical advice and expertise. She has the full responsibility of managing the day-to-day affairs of the company, something she does so well by utilizing all available resources including global networks, specialists, internal business units systems to handle the varied insurance requirements of clients. She delivers broking services in all phases of the Property and Casualty area, counsels clients in the design, funding and administration of all types of health and welfare benefits. Her areas of special expertise are life and disability insurance and managed health care and has developed captive structures designed to transfer and manage the different types of risks faced by Employers in various industries. Lena Adu-Kofi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) Ghana, and a Juris Doctor of Law degree (JD) from the New England School of Law, Massachusetts, USA. Other qualifications include being a Fellow of the Underwriting Training Council (LUTCF), specializing in Life, Disability, Property and Casualty and General Business insurance. Additionally, she is a National Association of Security Dealers (NASD) Series 6 and 63 Registered Representative, USA.

Mr. Paul Kofi Datsa

Mr. Paul Kofi Datsa is working as Director - Regulatory Administration, National Communications Authority (NCA). His 25 years of versatile experience in Finance, Budgeting, Accounts Administration / Management, Marketing and Communications / Personnel Management, Monitoring and MIS. Mr. Paul Kofi Datsa joined NCA after almost two decades of working with a number of Internet Service Companies, the last being DiscoveryTel Ghana Limited. At DiscoveryTel, he was the General Manager and a Board Member for four years, supervising the implementation of the first 4th Generation Broadband Wireless Access network in Ghana. Prior to joining DiscoveryTel, Mr. Datsa had worked at ESS/UCOM, Africa Online Ghana Limited and Natel Limited in senior management positions. He has been an adjunct lecturer of Telecommunications Policy & Regulations for the past six years at the Graduate School of the Ghana Technology University. Mr. Datsa has a Masters in Communications Management from the Strathclyde Business School and a Master of Laws in IT & Telecommunications Law from the Law School of the same University. From Kings College London, he holds Postgraduate Diploma in Economics for Competition Law and EU Competition Law. Kofi again has a degree from the University of Ghana Business School and a Diploma in Data Processing from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Nana is the Chief Operating Officer of Kany Corporation, an International Commodity Trading Company since 2002 to present. Prior to joining Kany, Nana has held numerous executive management positions in the Computer industry. He joined Digital Equipment Corporation in 1987 as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and rose through the ranks to become the Business Development Manager in 1991 and later promoted to Strategic Finance Manager in 1993. Nana was further promoted to Director, Business Development and Strategic Engagement Global Services with the acquisition of Digital Compaq Computer Corporation in 1997. Nana is a Graduate of MIT Sloan School of Management. He also received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
