Ms. Carina Sun is responsible for the firm's financial management, reporting, audit, tax, risk management, compliance, investor relations, and back-office operations.
Previously, Carina was a Finance Manager at Goldman Sachs Broad Street Equity Investment Management, a China-focused growth equity fund managed by Goldman Sachs. Carina was responsible for internal and external financial, tax and regulatory reports and provided investment-related consultation regarding aspects of the portfolio's financial, tax and bank-operations. Prior to that, Carina was Controller of Beijing Gaohua Securities, the securities subsidiary of Goldman Sachs in China. Carina was responsible for various regulatory, group and management reports, and she helped Goldman Sachs to acquire and integrate Qiankun Futures Company into the Group's own company policies, internal controls and financial reporting systems. Carina started her career as an auditor at KPMG, where she led on-site audit teams for various industrial companies, including Siemens, BMW and Fujitsu.
Carina holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Central University of Finance and Economics in China and a master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester, U.K.

Ms. Eko Liu focuses on investments in Web 3.0 and metaverse. Prior to joining Sky9, Eko founded a metaverse-based education startup in Beijing, which was the first "immersive classroom" in China.

Faye Lo is Head of Venture Philanthropy of Sky9 Capital. She is also an entrepreneur and a philanthropist.
She is the founder of Sky3 Seed Foundation, which deploys seed funding to promising new grass-roots NGOs across China. Since its inception in 2014, the foundation has seeded over 52 NGOs and various charity projects. Its most famous and successful seed funding was the "Da Liang Mountain" documentary project, which led to over RMB600 million of philanthropy funding from the Chinese government and private enterprises. This project drew tremendous media attention both within China and overseas.
She was also a co-founder and board member of Maitian Education Foundation, which was the first grass-roots NGO to be registered with the Chinese government in 2010. Currently, the foundation has over 100,000 volunteers in China across 82 cities and is the largest education foundation in the country.
Since 2003, Faye has focused her philanthropy work mostly in the areas of environmental protection, children's education and poverty alleviation. In 2015, Faye received an Executive Master's degree in Philanthropy jointly run by the China Philanthropy Research Institute and the Indiana University Lily Family School of Philanthropy. In 2017, Faye received a distinguished scholarship from the Harvard Kennedy School for a program in Executive Leadership in Philanthropy.

Mr. Davy Shen has 7 years of venture capital experience and focuses on a number of key areas including technology, internet, e-commerce, fin-tech and consumer. He has invested in companies including Energy Monster (NASDAQ: EM), Biren Technology, Jingling Group, eBroker, WutaCam, Albatross, YiAuto, BA, Home, CHAMPZEE, Xiaohulu, Soda, Spot, Songshu Pinpin, TOUCH, and Raventech.
Previously, Davy was a Partner of Zhonglu Capital.

Mr. Eric Guo is a serial entrepreneur with 10 years of operating and startup experience. He focuses on digital media, social networking, and internet.
Eric started his career as Product Manager at Tencent. He then founded FaceU, a social camera app later acquired by ByteDance for $300 million. Afterwards he joined Bytedance as CEO and Product Manager of camera-based products, with over 200 million MAU and multiple app store #1 products.
Eric holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
Mr. Fred Yang focuses on the firm's investments in consumer internet, FinTech, and social applications. He participated in the investments of QingCloud (SSE: 688316), Ezbuy, and others.
Previously, Fred was an Investment Manager of Infinity Group, an Israeli venture capital firm in China, where he focused primarily on the TMT and new energy sectors. He was also responsible for the post-investment management of over twenty portfolio companies. His investments included DUC, a fast-growing AR/VR solutions company for home furnishings, and ZAXH, an IoT startup focused on agricultural applications. Before joining Infinity, Fred was Project Manager of the investment banking division of XiangCai Securities, where he participated in a number of IPOs and refinancing projects. He started his professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he led and performed audit work for over a dozen major multinational companies, including Samsung, Toyota, Toshiba, Volvo, Kumho Tire, Nike, and Tsingtao Beer. He was also on the team for 4 IPO projects.
Fred holds a M.B.A from Fudan University and MIT's Sloan School of Management, and bachelor's degree in Law from Fudan University. In addition, he studied Finance and accounting at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011. He is a Certified Management Accountant.

Mr. HJ Hang has extensive experience in data, system and SaaS. He was Staff Product Manager at Ant Group responsible for building data, open source strategy and platforms for Alibaba ecosystem. Before that, he was Investment Associate in Matrix Partners covering infrastructure and SaaS investment. His portfolios include CaiCloud (acquired by ByteDance), Chaitin (acquired by Alibaba), SmartX, Yunshan Networks and Nebula Graph. He also worked closely with companies like PingCAP, QiNiu, GrowingIO, etc.

Mr. James Wang focuses on a number of key areas, including consumer, internet and SaaS. Companies he has invested in include Albatross, YiAuto, Starfield, HotMaxx, Leyan Technologies, BA, Knowin, Chen Xiang Gui, Starter, Hey Card, Bud and Netjoy (HKSE: 02131).
James was a serial entrepreneur with a deep understanding of products and marketing. He started his professional career with Baixing.com during college, where he was responsible for the marketing and operations of the company's second-hand marketplace. He then joined the core leadership team of Hotelvp.com (later acquired by JD.com). James then founded Yiqi, a social networking app which was acquired after two rounds of funding. In 2016, James joined Huishoubao, a leading mobile phone recycling platform, as VP of Marketing. During his tenure there, he led Huishoubao's investment into Shanxiuxia.

Mr. Jing Wang has 13 years of investment experience and 5 years of entrepreneurial experience in the internet industry. With a focus in B2B, industrial internet, advanced technologies and bio-medical, he has invested in companies including Jumei, Zhaogang.com, WeRide, 51WORLD, isuwang.com, ZEPP, Hong Jing Drive, OrienSpace and RootPath.
Jing also founded and is in charge of Sky9 CIC (Combat Information Center). CIC aims to provide quick and accurate intelligence support for the investment team by comprehensively collecting, sorting, analyzing, judging and distributing market information, thereby assisting in the high-quality and efficient completion of daily investment work.
Previously, Jing joined Lightspeed China Partners as a Vice President in 2014. Before that, he was an Investment Manager at K2VC, where he helped start and build the firm's angel-stage investment fund.

Mr. John Fan is based in San Francisco and focuses on investments in cloud infrastructure, data analytics, SaaS and logistics.
An infrastructure engineer by trade, John draws upon his time at companies such as CloudSwitch (acquired by Verizon) and Google Cloud to guide his interest in companies with a technological edge. Prior to joining Sky9 Capital, John sourced and led early-stage investments at US/Israel fund Blumberg Capital.

Mr. Ron Cao is Founder and Partner of Sky9 capital. During his venture capital investment career across Silicon Valley and China, Ron has focused on investing in innovative and disruptive opportunities in consumer internet, industrial internet, enterprise services, deep tech and digital healthcare. He has invested in a number of technology companies that have grown to become market leaders in their respective industries. Before entering the investment field, Ron started his career in the US with Motorola, Goldman Sachs and Intel.
Ron was named by Forbes China as one of the "Top Venture Capitalists of China" over multiple years. In 2013, Ron was selected by the World Economic Forum as one of its "Young Global Leaders". Ron is actively involved with various philanthropic pursuits, especially in the areas of children's education and impact investing.

Mr. Terrence Tey has over 10 years of hedge fund investment experience with APS Asset Management, RWC Partners and Dymon Asia, conducting rigorous investigative research into industries and companies in Asia. Mr. Tony Lo has a unique combination of investing and operating backgrounds, having been a serial entrepreneur, venture capital investor, and strategy consultant in both China and Silicon Valley. Most recently, Tony has been a Partner with TZG Partners since 2006. TZG is an in-house incubation facility where the principals initiate new enterprises, acting together as co-founders and often as the new company's first acting CEO. Prior to that, Tony was a Partner of Celsius Capital, a China-focused early-stage venture capital firm, where he focused on telecom technology and services.

Under his management, Zozoc increased its China user base to five million across hundreds of device types and multiple languages.

Ms. Lesley Lu is in charge of all legal matters related to Sky9's investment, fund operation and portfolios. Lesley participates in designing investment structures, legal due diligence, term negotiation, deal execution and legal matters of portfolio management.
Prior to joining Sky9 Capital, Lesley was an Associate of Han Kun Law Offices, focusing on private equity, venture capital, M&A and IPO. She has great experience in the legal practice of venture capital and the subsequence capital market operations.
Lesley has the PRC Bar qualification. She holds a bachelor's degree in Law (Major) and a B.A. degree in English Literature (Minor) from Shanghai International Studies University, and a M.A. in Laws from Georgetown University.

Previously, Niki was an Associate of Geekhouse Capital, an angel-stage venture capital firm founded by Fuye Wang (Board member of Huayi Brothers), Yifu Yang (Founder of Renrendai), Li Fan and Jianzhong Fu in 2014. Niki invested in and participated in companies including Kaipa, Congming Media, Sanjieke, Dasmaster, Auto3D, and Dailycast. Prior to that, Niki was an Analyst of 3W Capital, focused on social networks, online gaming, culture and entertainment.

Ms. Skye Zhao is responsible for post- investment management of Sky9's portfolios. She has years of experience in venture debt lending and portfolio management. Previously, Skye worked as VP of SPD Silicon Valley Bank, leading venture lending to early and growth stage companies such as Unisound, Talking data, SteelSearcher and Huangbaoche. Prior to that, she was a Product Manager at Creditease and an Auditor at PWC China.
Skye holds a bachelor's degree in International Economics from Fudan University and a master's degree in Finance from Ohio State University.
Ms. Susie Tian is in charge of legal matters related to Sky9's fund operation and portfolios. Susie participates in legal due diligence, term negotiation, transaction documents review and legal matters of portfolio compliance.
Prior to joining Sky9 Capital, Susie served as an Associate in Llinks Law Offices and Haiwen & Partners, focusing on private equity, venture capital, M&A and real estate investment. She has great experience in the legal practice of private equity and venture capital.
Susie has the PRC Bar qualification and New York State Bar qualification. She holds a bachelor's degree in Law from East China University of Political Science and Law, and a master's degree in Law from Vanderbilt University.

Huang has over 10 years of experience in executive search, leadership/culture development and HR management. She has provided organization structure design, operation optimization, leadership advisory, culture shaping and senior executive search services to multinational companies in Asia, as well as Chinese enterprises. Previously, Shannon served as HRD at PingAn Group. She was responsible for the group's overall talent strategy, senior executive search and investment team HR. Prior to that, Shannon worked for 2 well-known multinational head-hunting firms with nearly 10 years of consulting experience in the field of financial risk management.
Shannon holds a master's degree in System Engineering from University of Virginia.

Ms. Shimer Diao has more than 15 years of experience in international affairs and impact building areas. She served as the Senior Advisor at United Nations Global Compact and led the global program of Sustainable Infrastructure for the Belt and Road Initiative to Accelerate the SDGs Action Platform.
Prior to her role at United Nations Global Compact, Shimer was with the World Economic Forum, managing 3 foundations initiated by the World Economic Forum, Global Shapers Community, Young Global Leaders and the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship in Greater China and Northeast Asia region. Shimer started her career as a journalist and producer with Shanghai Media Group.
Shimer was selected as a Young Political Leader fellow by All China Youth Federation and American Young Political Leader Council in 2019. She also served as the Founding Curator of World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community in 2013.
Shimer holds a master's degree in Law, International Relations from Peking University and a bachelor's degree of Arts, Asian Studies from University of Sydney. She is also a candidate in Master of Philosophy in Peking University.
