Dr. Bourne has a passion for women's health care, and she loves delivering babies and watching families grow. Catrina Bourne is a hometown girl from Yukon, Oklahoma. Her family has lived here since 1971, and she graduated from Yukon High School in 1992. After high school, she attended Oklahoma City University, where she received her degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics. She graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma Medical School and did her residency in Family Medicine at UMKC in Kansas City, Missouri. There she did an emphasis on women and children's health. Since residency, she worked with Integris Health as a family physician with obstetrics. Catrina is married to Tim Bourne, and they have 2 beautiful children, Madeline and James. They are a musical family and are very active in their church community. She enjoys soccer, swimming, playing piano, singing, and working with the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. She also has a passion for missions and has served on international mission trips to Mexico and Haiti. Catrina looks forward to building a relationship with you and your family to help you in your healthcare needs.

Firmly grounded in both passion and purpose, Dr. Burget proudly pursued medicine to help people! Dr. Brad Burget is a board-certified physician in BOTH internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Burget grew up in Norman and attended The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his residency there as well. He is passionate about preventive care and loves working with patients who may need more time, care, and attention for complex needs. His focus on both internal medicine and pediatric care gives him unique opportunities to meet the needs of his patients and their families, and Dr. Burget sees direct primary care as an open doorway to increase the time he can spend with each patient.

Dr. Christi Dewitt

A teacher at heart, DeWitt enjoys being able to educate her patients about their health. She is passionate about the direct primary care model. Christi DeWitt, was born and raised in Purcell, Oklahoma. She earned her Bachelor of Science in biology education from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. DeWitt went on to teach high school anatomy, physiology and biology where she cultivated her interest in the medical field. She later completed her master's degree in health sciences from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2005. Since earning her master's degree, DeWitt has worked as a physician assistant for several leading area clinics including the Oklahoma City Clinic, Urgent Med, Southern Plains Medical Center, South Oklahoma City Women's Healthcare and Integris Family Care South. DeWitt is currently affiliated with the American Association of Physician Associates and the Oklahoma Association of Physician Associates. She is national board certified and holds certifications from the Oklahoma Medical Board and from the American Heart Association. DeWitt has been married to her husband, Derrick, for nearly 20 years. Together, they have one daughter, Ella who is 8 years old. When not working, she enjoys running, hiking, traveling with her family and watching Ella play sports.

Dr. Divina L. Roman

Dr. Roman is trained in both internal medicine and pediatrics. She is passionate about providing high quality preventative health services that people can afford and embraces an approach to patient care firmly rooted in faith and service. Dr. Divina L. Roman has been practicing medicine in Tulsa for nearly 30 years. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees in the Philippines before relocating to Oklahoma for training. She completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine - Tulsa. Directly out of residency Dr. Roman joined the St. John Health System, serving more than 22 years as a primary care physician first at the OMNI Adult and Pediatrics Clinic, then at the Medical Access Clinic (MAC), a project of the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother to serve the Tulsa community. The only physician at the MAC, Dr. Roman was responsible for leading the clinic and providing free outpatient medical care for uninsured patients referred from other service organizations. Her extensive experience working in a variety of practice settings has prepared her perfectly for direct primary care (DPC) and heading the first Tulsa location of Primary Health Partners. Improving patient health and lowering risk factors through quality, affordable care has always been Dr. Roman's touchstone. During her time at MAC and as a volunteer physician at the Good Samaritan Clinic, Dr. Roman became well-versed in the myriad of patient assistance programs, discounted medications, and discounted consults essential to helping her patients receive the care they needed. She is a firm believer in the direct primary care model, which makes healthcare more affordable and allows her to concentrate on providing and coordinating the comprehensive preventative care her patients deserve without worrying about the cost of every visit. A native Tagalog speaker, Dr. Roman has served as the president of the Philippine Medical Association of Oklahoma and is very active with her church. Dr. Roman and her husband Emmanuel-a psychiatrist at the Indian Health Clinic Resource Center in Tulsa-have three sons, all of whom are also involved in the medical field. The whole family enjoys playing the piano, staying competitive with basketball and tennis, and are currently learning to play golf.

Dr. Doug Haynes

Dr. Haynes is a board-certified physician with over 20 years of experience in family medicine. Dr. Doug Haynes is a board-certified family medicine physician with over 20 years of experience caring for patients in Edmond, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his residency at Via Christi Family Medicine Program in Wichita, Kansas. After residency, Dr. Haynes returned to Edmond and practiced with a private group for 10 years before joining Integris where he has worked as an outpatient family medicine physician for the past 12 years. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is eager to continue learning new and integrative approaches to offer his patients. Dr. Haynes enjoys preventative care and helping patients reach wellness goals through healthy lifestyle choices. He treats patients of all ages and is best known for his compassionate and unhurried approach to patient care. Of all the advantages of the direct primary care model, the one that most excites Dr. Haynes is the time he will get to spend with his patients. Time, he believes, is essential to building strong relationships with his patients as a healthcare partner and not just a provider. It also allows him to embrace a more holistic approach to medicine, one in which he can consider the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of his patients for better care and better outcomes. Outside of medicine, Dr. Haynes' true passion is his family. He and his wife of 28 years, Dorene, enjoy spending time with their two daughters, Hope and Andrea. Perhaps his favorite title of all is "Pop Pop," which he is lovingly called by his only granddaughter. A less known, yet equally fun fact about Dr. Haynes is that he was formerly a bass guitarist for a contemporary Christian music group called New Wine. With his transition to PHP, he hopes to have a little more free time to pursue some of his lifelong hobbies including playing the guitar, exploring the great outdoors, and traveling!

She received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK, where she ranked second in her class. She spent three years in a general surgery residency, believing she wanted to be a surgeon, before having a big change of heart that resulted in pursuing family medicine as her profession. She then completed her residency training at Integris Northwest Family Medicine Residency in Enid, OK, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Kuykendall celebrates the direct model of care because it allows her to do what she does best - take compassionate and preventive approach for her patients and embrace all aspects of their healthcare needs. She is proud to partner with individuals and families in every facet of their medical journey to be a place of trust and solace. She embraces a preventive approach to care in order to guide both her patients and their families. Dr. Fiorella Avant

Dr. Fiorella Avant is a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Fiorella Avant considers medicine her calling, and loves to hear each patient's story and to treat them as she would her own family. Born in Costa Rica, she relocated to the US as a young child and spent much of her childhood in California. She moved to El Reno, Oklahoma in high school where she graduated and ultimately put down her Okie roots. She attended Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, where she received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at INTEGRIS Northwest Family Medicine Residency Program. After training she joined INTEGRIS, where she has enjoyed taking care of patients in and around the Yukon community for the past 4 years. Dr. Avant believes in nurturing the doctor/patient relationship and empowering her patients to maintain a healthy lifestyle, from newborns to seniors. She considers her calling a privilege to be part of her patients life and helping them shape their health. She enjoys the variety that comes with working with patients from all walks of life. Dr. Ferrell's upbringing in a military family who lived all over the globe has given her extensive multi-cultural experiences. She is very much a native Oklahoman with Cherokee ancestry. She completed her undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University and received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. In order to diversify her educational experiences, she left her home state of Oklahoma to pursue post-graduate education at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center. She completed a Family Medicine internship and an Internal Medicine residency. She then went on to achieve tremendous success in academics and private practice at a number of highly respected institutions. Jennifer is a proud mother to three children. She loves to travel and spends time outdoors skiing, biking, and hiking. She also loves cooking and sewing. Dr. Ferrell is deeply committed to personal development and is known for her bedside manner and communication style. Dr. Kelley M. Lobb

She graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma before earning her Medical Doctorate from the university's College of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where she was awarded Intern of the Year for 2008-09 and served as the Chief Resident from 2010-2011. After residency, Dr. Lobb practiced at Mercy Primary Care-Norman-formally Norman Clinic, Inc.-from 2011 until she joined Primary Health Partners. She provides care to patients from age 5 to end-of-life and embraces a whole-person approach in which the big picture matters and how her patients feel is important. Dr. Lobb strives to ensure her patients feel heard and unrushed, and that nothing comes between them and her ability to treat them. For Dr. Lobb, great care takes teamwork and a common goal. Dr. Lobb initially joined the medical field to pursue forensic pathology, but during her rotations, fell in love with the patient interactions and relationships of family medicine. She is passionate about fostering long-term relationships with patients and providing them exceptional care in a timely fashion, fundamentals she feels are lacking in today's traditional healthcare system. She has also served her community as the Live Auction Chair for the Sooner Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since 2019. She and her husband of 18 years, Quentin, share three beautiful children who keep them wonderfully busy.

Dr. Krista Schwarz

Dr. Krista Schwarz loves how family medicine can improve the health and lives of patients. Dr. Schwarz grew up on a farm near Okarche, Oklahoma where her family has lived since the Oklahoma Land Run. She graduated from Okarche High School in 1988 and went to the University of Oklahoma for 3 years but ultimately graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S in Nutrition. Dr. Schwarz went to medical school at the University of Oklahoma and also did her family medicine residency there. In 1999, she joined Integris Family Medicine in Yukon and worked there until 2006 when she took a break from doctoring and stayed home with her twin boys and their older brother. After 7 years as a stay-at-home mom, she went back to work in Oklahoma City. She joined Primary Health Partners January 2019 and could not be more happier in getting back to the way medicine is best practiced. Dr. Schwarz married her high school sweetheart, Doug, they have 3 sons, Jarrett, Ethan and Tyler. She loves spending time with her family, snow skiing, wake boarding, reading, cooking, going to the movies and watching the Sooners and Thunder. Dr. Schwarz has been a volunteer physician at Kanakuk Kamps in Missouri for many years and has also enjoyed helping at her children's schools.

Dr. Kyle Rickner - Chairman, Founder

Dr. Rickner loves helping patients live healthier and fuller lives through his passion as a Direct Primary Care Physician. Dr. Rickner is a native Oklahoman having graduated from Kingfisher High School and Southern Nazarene University. He then attended Medical School at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH before returning to do his residency at Great Plains Family Medicine in Oklahoma City. His career as a physician started in the US Army where he served at Ft. Bragg, NC both as a staff physician and as a battalion surgeon in 82nd Airborne division in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dr. Rickner has also practiced in private group practice and corporate medicine practices. He has maintained a strong interest in clinical research and has been both a director of Clinical research and a chairman of IRB. He states "Having Clinical research as a key component of Primary Health Partners keeps us on the cutting edge of developments in medicine." Dr. Rickner has been a Godsend for me. Always willing to listen and very personable. Love my experience with him and his staff as well!! I have been extremely careful and intentional about bringing on a provider to work with my patients. Dr. Melinda Cail

Dr. Melinda Cail sees her work as her mission field, and she loves the privilege of being involved in the lives of her patients through Direct Primary Care. Dr. Cail is a native of the Edmond area. She attended Edmond Memorial High School and completed her undergraduate degree at Oklahoma Christian University. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2000 with her MD. From there, Dr. Cail trained at Great Plains Family Practice, where she completed her residency in 2003. She practiced for 2 1/2 years with Integris ProHealth Physicians in Norman, then was thrilled when an opportunity to practice in Edmond presented itself to her. She started work with the Mercy Health Network in January 2006 and practiced there for 11 years. Melinda enjoys cooking, singing, and is an avid clog dancer. She loves to travel, especially to the ruined castles of England and Scotland. Actively involved with the Alzheimer's Association, she was honored to serve as the keynote speaker for the Alzheimer's Aware fundraising event in 2015. She is also involved with the American Cancer Society as a spokesperson for the battle against colon cancer. Dr. Cail makes an appearance weekly on the Joey and Heather radio morning show as "Dr. Mindy" and is excited for the opportunity to improve the health of those she serves. Dr. Melinda Cail is awesome. She listens to me, takes the time to find out exactly what is going on, and then resolves the issues. Her staff is unbelievable. They are always very welcoming and make me feel at home. I do not know what I would do without Nakia or Misty.

Dr. Tanna Shaw

Dr. Tanna Shaw is a board certified Internal Medicine physician, with a wide breadth of practice experience, ranging from outpatient primary care to hospital medicine. Dr. Shaw specializes in complex diseases in adults, but enjoys preventative healthcare as well. Making connections with her patients and giving them the knowledge and tools they need to improve their health is the foundation of her care philosophy. Dr. Shaw graduated from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1997, and went on to complete her internal medicine residency at OU in 2000. She spent the first half of her medical career as a primary care physician in the OKC metro area prior to joining Integris, where she focused several years on inpatient hospital medicine. During her time at Integris, she held many leadership roles including Chief Medical Officer, and was instrumental in building the hospitalist program at Integris Bass Baptist Medical Center in Enid. With 25 years experience in her field, Dr. Shaw understands that transparency and building strong relationships with her patients is key to their healing and recovery. She is passionate about educating her patients to help them make the best choices for their personal health. She knows that the unknown is difficult for people - and the more educated they are on their condition, the more likely they are to succeed in their journey. When she's not practicing medicine, she stays busy with her husband and three sons, and can often be found at a soccer, baseball or football game. She and her husband are avid cyclists and love going on biking vacations, particularly Katy Trail State Park in Missouri. Family time is incredibly important to Dr. Shaw, and she enjoys bringing her loved ones together for home-cooked meals.

Dr. Webber Merrell

Michelle Merrell grew up in Guthrie where her grandfather, Dr. Webber Merrell, was a family physician for more than 40 years. She was inspired by the positive impact his care and compassion had on the community. She has chosen a career in direct primary care so that she may have close, meaningful relationships with her patients, similar to the ones of small town providers of the past. Michelle describes her training as an "education divided" with degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. She first attended OSU where she received a Bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism. Her first job was at KFOR in Oklahoma City. She worked in television news for 5 years before taking time off to be a stay at home mom. When she returned to work, Michelle felt called to pursue a career in healthcare. She received her Bachelor's in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma and her Master's in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. As a family nurse practitioner, Michelle is licensed to care for patients of all ages. Prior to joining Primary Health Partners, Michelle practiced with Mercy Primary Care in Edmond. Lauren Southward

Being a family medicine physician is my calling. I get the enjoyment of caring for my patients over time, from birth to geriatrics. It is a very rewarding experience. Dr. Southward was born and raised in Southern Oklahoma on her family's ranch. She attended Ringling High School and went on to complete her undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University. She received her Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, where she graduated in the top quartile of her class. She completed her residency at Great Plains Family Medicine in Oklahoma City where she served as Chief Resident her final year. Upon graduation in 2003, she returned home to Ardmore, Oklahoma and opened her own private family medicine practice. In 2012, she joined the staff of Cross Timbers Hospice and has since worked in both hospice and family practice serving Ardmore and the surrounding community's. The decision to join Primary Health Partners will allow her to transition her practice to a direct primary care model which will allow her to spend more time with each patient to provide the quality, personalized care she is passionate about. Her areas of clinical focus include family practice, geriatrics, hospice/end of life care, and chronic disease. She enjoys partnering with patients to educate them and help them to live a healthy lifestyle and prevent diseases. She believes that her patients can teach her more about medicine than any book ever has. She is a hands-on physician.

Louie Wall

Louie Wall, M.D., specializes in the field of family medicine for the Oklahoma City metro and in rural Oklahoma. He is a proud resident from the south side of Oklahoma City where he attended Southeast High School. Dr. Wall (Louie) is from South OKC, attending Southeast High School before attending Central State University in Edmond, OK on an athletic scholarship. He was humbled to be a member of the 1979 National Championship Wresting team, learning many life lessons on the journey. From there, he attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma, and also completed his Family Medicine Residency at OU. While there, he served as Chief Resident in 1987 and was one of the original four primary care doctors forming a group employment with INTEGRIS. Dr. Wall served many leadership roles during his 30-plus-year career with INTEGRIS, including Physicians Services Board member, Compliance committee, Compensation committee, Medical Director, and Service Excellence Coordinator. Dr. Wall married his lovely wife, Deena, in 1983. The two met met in 1973 when he worked at Crossroads Mall as a janitor and Deena worked at Orange Julius where she fed him and he took out the trash… and they still have that part of the relationship! Dr. Wall and Deena have two adult children. Matt is a skilled tradesman, plumber/pipe fitter who can fix just about anything. Their daughter, Amelia, is a proud OKC firefighter.

Michael Eskew

Michael Eskew was born in Oklahoma City before moving to Texas at a young age. His family lived in Austin and Amarillo, and Mike graduated from Canyon High School before returning to Oklahoma for college. He graduated from Southern Nazarene University, began his career as a science teacher and girls basketball coach, and has lived on the northwest side of Oklahoma City for the past thirty years. He earned a second undergraduate degree, in nursing, from the University of Oklahoma and worked as an ICU nurse at OU Medical Center. Mike's dream has been to combine his love of science with his passion for helping others, and a career in healthcare has been the perfect blend of both. He attended Duke University in North Carolina, where he earned both a Master's and a Doctorate as a nurse practitioner. Mike feels extremely blessed to be joining Primary Health Partners as a nurse practitioner at their northwest location. He believes that PHP is bringing much needed change to the healthcare industry in Oklahoma. "Primary Health Partners eliminates the barriers between the provider and the patient. PHP provides prompt access to providers, and the focus is on the patient. The focus is not on the clock, the revenue generated, the referrals created, or the demands of the insurance company. The focus is back where it belongs, on the patient, and how to provide the best care possible to the person in front of you at that moment." Mike is married to Chris, who is an elementary librarian, and they have two mostly wonderful children. Carson is in college at Northwest Nazarene University in Idaho, Reagan attends Yukon Public Schools, and don't forget Maggie, their Labrador retriever. Mike enjoys woodworking in his spare time, and the family enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, and riding four wheelers.

Nathan Blake John

Nathan Blake John, MD is an Oklahoma native who attended Oklahoma State University, where he received a degree in biochemistry. By chance, he took a summer job working in a clinic, where he discovered that a career in medicine could combine his love for building relationships as well as his gifts in science. He attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma, where he discovered a love of family medicine, which allows him to treat a variety of conditions in people of all ages. He completed his residency at SSM St. Anthony in Oklahoma City and is board certified in family medicine. He then pursued a board certification in obesity medicine to enable him to better counsel his patients on nutrition and exercise, something he is truly passionate about. After residency he practiced family medicine as well as urgent care in Edmond, and he is now excited to be a part of Primary Health Partners. Dr. John has a relaxed and caring bedside manner, where he listens to patients and works to meet them where they are and provide compassionate care. He loves to work on sustainable and affordable lifestyle changes and treatments to improve patients' health, and to maintain evidence-based preventative care to protect patients' futures. He is excited for the opportunity of working in direct primary care, which restores the doctor patient relationship and allows physicians the time they need to give patients the care they deserve. Dr. John lives in Edmond with his wife, Emily, and their three children, Barrett, Ellie Cate, and Nathan. In his spare time, he enjoys family time, working out, and spending time with friends. On weekends you can find him watching sports with his wife and cheering especially loud for OSU and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Rachel Lacy Anderson

Dr. Rachel Lacy Anderson has always known she had a calling in medicine. She is currently living her dream of practicing Family Medicine, helping to improve the health of her patients and their families. She was born and raised in Oklahoma, originally being from Madill. She graduated from Westmoore High School and then attended the University of Oklahoma, earning a B.S. degree in Zoology. She attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences center and graduated in 2004. She completed her residency at the OU Family Medicine program in 2007. After residency, she joined Integris Health and practiced in Norman from 2007 to 2021. She works with News 9, answering viewers' medical questions on her Daily Dose segment at the noon broadcast on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. She also answers Covid 19 questions live at the 4:00 broadcast on Thursday afternoons. She is married to her husband, Brad, since 2002. They have two sons, Gage and Blake, and one daughter, Landry. She loves to travel, especially beach vacations, cruises and Disney World trips. She also enjoys snow skiing, gardening, and reading.

Richard Lowrance III

Richard (Tres) Lowrance III, M.D. is a family medicine physician focused on preventive care and treating the whole person. Dr. Lowrance was born in Tulsa, and raised in Coweta, Oklahoma. Dr. Lowrance attended Oklahoma Christian University, where in his final year he met his wife. He graduated from OC in 2004 with honors, and went on to the University of Oklahoma where he completed medical school in 2010. He completed his residency training in family medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler, and was Chief Resident his final year. Dr. Lowrance has more than 11 years of experience in family medicine, and believes in taking care of his patients mentally, physically, and spiritually in order to address their health and quality of life. He embraces the direct primary care model because it allows him to build strong relationships with patients in a way not afforded by the traditional healthcare system. Dr. Lowrance focuses on helping patients make obtainable lifestyle changes to help reverse chronic conditions naturally, whenever possible. He enjoys health coaching and has a strong interest in nutrition and exercise. Faith and family are important to Dr. Lowrance. He and his wife Mandi have three young children, Ryker, Sutton, and Avileigh. The Lowrance's reside in Mustang, where they keep honeybees and enjoy the outdoors. Dr. Lowrance is the most compassionate doctor I've ever encountered. He takes the time to truly listen and understand my health issues. I was diagnosed with a condition that most doctors don't understand, he took the time to find the right specialist and fought to get me seen. I cannot recommend him enough. I look at him like family now, so grateful I found him!

Robert Lockwood - CMO, Founder

Dr. Lockwood was born in Oklahoma City and has lived in the OKC area all his life. In medicine, his passion is his relationship with patients, their wellness and Direct Primary Care. He graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1984 and then attended the University of Oklahoma. In 1988 he graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering and then went to work for AT&T. While there, he completed a MBA from Oklahoma City University in 1992. He eventually left that position to go to medical school and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1999. After that he trained at Great Plains Family Medicine and completed his residency in 2002. He then went to work for INTEGRIS Health in July of 2002 and Remained there until forming Primary Health Partners P.L.L.C. with Dr. Kyle Rickner. He is married to Kecia Lockwood and has three beautiful daughters Kenzi, Courtney and Kylie. He loves to run, play golf and has a heart for mission work and has traveled to Honduras in that capacity many times. In the fall on Saturdays you may find him cheering on his beloved Sooners with one of his daughters and occasionally even his wife will make the pilgrimage.
