Brett Hamilton

Brett Hamilton serves as Senior Vice President of Microelectronics & Advanced Technology Strategy at ARI. In this capacity, he develops strategies for improving regional technical capabilities, and for driving economic development through innovation. His work is heavily focused on accessing and developing the most advanced microelectronics and related technology possible. Prior to joining ARI, Brett competed a 27-year career at the Department of Defense. Most recently, he served as Deputy Principal Director for Microelectronics in the Office of the Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Critical Technologies at the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense. Prior experience includes Distinguished Scientist for Microelectronics (SSTM), Chief Engineer for Trusted Microelectronics, and Senior Scientist at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (Department of the U.S. Navy). Throughout his career, Brett has helped bridge the gap between the commercial sector and the defense industrial base (DIB) and has led collaborative teams to develop a more secure and robust microelectronics supply chain for DoD weapons systems, critical national infrastructure, and consumer products. He has testified before the House Armed Services Subcommittee as a subject matter expert on issues relating to trusted and assured microelectronics, and has a broad network of partners including world-class commercial semiconductor foundries, fabless design companies, and multiple government agencies. Brett also serves as an Advisor for the America's Frontier Fund.

David (Dave) Angeletti

David (Dave) Angeletti serves as Director of Ecosystems for ARI (Applied Research Institute, Inc.). Prior to joining ARI, he served as Senior Director, Business Development for Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC). At CTC, he was successful in positioning congressional programs through the National Defense Appropriations Act for FY21 and generating more than a $330 million pipeline of contracts with the Air Force Research Laboratory. Angeletti is familiar with both the processes and decision makers in various government acquisition programs including over 10 years working with Other Transaction Authority agreements and various Department of Defense consortia. He has a successful track record in business development and program management positions for companies working in the defense and government services industries. Angeletti is a member of the Air Force Association (AFA), Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA), Association of the United States Army (AUSA), Dayton Defense Contractor's Association, National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and is a founding member of the Artificial Intelligence in Metals and Manufacturing Consortium. He earned his bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh.

Jeron Peoples serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives for Applied Research Institute, Inc (ARI). Prior to joining ARI, Jeron served in a Corporate Strategy capacity at Rolls-Royce where he developed organic and inorganic growth strategies, lead cross-functional teams and drove external stakeholder alignment to support global strategic initiatives for the Rolls-Royce's Defense business. Prior to that, Jeron supported Business Development & Future Programs as Vice President of Sales at Rolls-Royce, bringing in close to $2 billion in orders. Jeron earned his Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management and Finance, from North Carolina A&T University (NCAT). Jeron is also a Partner at BetterStreet, an Indianapolis, IN-based venture advisory firm.

Jess Resig, PhD, serves as the Director of Solutions Innovation at ARI (Applied Research Institute, Inc.). Prior to joining ARI, she served as a senior instructional designer for Penn State University where she spent over a decade collaborating with business and engineering faculty and program directors to design, develop, and offer a variety of online, hybrid, and executive-style programs. She brings a wealth of experience in process and project management, learning analytics, research, and program evaluation. Resig also served as a lecturer at the University of Virginia and for Penn State Hazleton, teaching courses in instructional design, multimedia design and management information systems. She holds a bachelor's degree in English and English Education from the University of Pittsburgh, a master's degree in instructional technology from Duquesne University, and a PhD in instructional design and technology from Old Dominion University.

Jimmy Costa serves as Senior Vice President of Innovation and Semiconductor Strategy for ARI (Applied Research Institute, Inc.). Prior to this role, he served as the Senior Vice President of Innovation and Semiconductor Strategy for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). Jimmy joined the IEDC from a major semiconductor supplier, where he was responsible for the global management of a large strategic customer. Jimmy started his career as a design engineer for a tier 1 automotive company before moving into the semiconductor ecosystem, working in a variety of engineering and business roles, as well as in account management, and design services. Jimmy holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University.

Stu Dillon serves as the Director of Partnerships & Counsel for ARI (Applied Research Institute, Inc.). Dillon most recently served as the Special Assistant to the Secretary of Commerce at the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). Dillon was responsible for special projects assigned by the Secretary, communications from the Secretary's Office, and the management of the follow-ups that derived from his day-to-day meetings. Prior to his work at the IEDC, Dillon worked as a Summer Associate at Dentons Bingham Greenebaum in the Litigation Department.
