Jose Luis Torres, a native of Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, embarked on his inspiring journey when he immigrated to the United States at just nine years old. Growing up in Mission, Texas, he went on to excel academically, earning dual B.A. degrees in Government and Spanish at the prestigious University of Texas at Austin. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Mr. Torres gained invaluable exposure to the inner workings of the legislative process during his internship at the Texas House of Representatives.
Fueled by a passion for international affairs, Mr. Torres expanded his global perspective at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, where he delved into German Law and European Union Law. As a law student at South Texas College of Law, he honed his legal expertise through internships at various international trade law firms, assisting with a wide range of matters, from importing and exporting goods to foreign investment issues.
