Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a doctor because I thought that was the only way I could help people. Throughout the years, I've come to realize that help comes in various ways and forms and means different things to different people... I decided to study Business/Economics and Sociology to pursue a career in Human Resources. After working in the industry for 2.5 years and interacting with a variety of people, I began to recognize that everyone has different wants and needs, and to be successful at my job, I needed to empathize with them as people first, in addition to what my actual responsibilities were.
