At Retraining Pain, we recognise that people with persistent pain often struggle with day to day activities, which can impact on the physical conditioning of the body. Specialist physiotherapists can assist with reconditioning the body to enable an individual to thrive. We really try to make movement both functional and fun, often by seeing people in their home environments... We are a specialist team of HCPC registered, psychologically informed physiotherapists, clinical psychologists and occupational therapists. We work collaboratively using a biopsychosocial model to help with the challenge that persistent pain presents... Through our decades of experience working with people with pain, we understand people can feel hopeless. Often, they feel their pain is not believed or is misunderstood. They have frequently been offered ineffective interventions.
