CLYDE FISHERMEN'S TRUST

The Clyde Fishermen's Trust is a community-based charitable organisation that was established in 2016, by local fishermen, for local fishermen. Our aim is to empower coastal communities and support their local area through regeneration alongside historical and cultural development... Since 2016, we have expanded our initial focus, working comprehensively on a wide range of grassroots projects which tackle the many issues faced by fishermen and coastal communities in the Clyde and west of Scotland areas... The work we do is rooted in the local community. Our purpose is to amplify the voices of the fishing industry - providing a platform to help them develop their skills, celebrate their heritage and share their stories. Within this work, our main areas of focus are community development, education, science, heritage, culture, and the arts.
