Adam joined Cottons at the beginning of 2021 as Corporate Finance Executive after becoming a qualified accountant at his previous firm in 2019. After graduating from the University of the West of England in Bristol with a degree in Economics, Adam started his career as an Auditor before making the move into Corporate Finance. Having gained experience with owner-managed businesses while in the audit sector, Adam then wanted to continue working with SMEs, but on more interesting and exciting projects.
Now as the Corporate Finance Assistant Manager, his role at Cottons involved supporting Guy in all areas of the Corporate Finance Department as well as managing his own engagements. One of Adam's favourite parts of the job is meeting clients and finding out about their businesses and ambitions for the future. Away from work, you will often find Adam playing tennis or golf and watching Formula One. As a Chelsea fan, he tries to make it to Stamford Bridge whenever he can to watch the blues!

Adelina joined Cottons in September 2022 as a trainee following sixthform. She is based in the Rugby office and is working towards her AAT qualification as part of an apprenticeship. She is currently involved in the preparation of annual accounts, VAT and personal tax returns. Outside work, Adelina enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Alfie joined Cottons in 2022 as a Trainee Accountant, after graduating from Swansea University with a BSc Accounting and Finance and MSc International Banking and Finance degree. Alfie's role at Cottons includes preparing accounts for Limited Companies, completing VAT Returns for various clients, as well as completing Personal Tax Returns. He is quickly gaining experience across a wide variety Accounting Services and looks to begin his qualifications in the next year.
Outside of work, Alfie is a big fan of sports, including; Football, Boxing, Formula One and Cricket just to name a few. His highlights as a sports fan include watching England at the World Cup and seeing many heavyweight boxing events. Alfie also enjoys socialising with friends and family at home in Watford and has a keen interest in visiting different countries of the world in the future,

Alice joined Cottons in August 2022, as part of the acquisition of J R Watson & Co, she had been with them since leaving school and completed her AAT apprenticeship whilst there. She worked her way up from junior level, gaining skills in a variety of areas, and now has over a decade of experience. Alice's role includes working on accounts and tax and she is also part of our audit team; she enjoys meeting with and talking to clients and is always happy to assist where possible with any queries they may have. In her spare time Alice enjoys socialising with friends & family and cooking - she's always on the lookout for new recipes to try!

Amber will be one of the first people a new client will hear from at Cottons, Amber's role is to guide clients through their sign up journey and will always be a friendly voice on the end of the phone. Amber joined Cottons in August 2022 she is based in the London office as part of Ollie Warne's team. Amber's role of Business Support Administrator includes dealing with company secretarial forms, engagement procedures, liaising with clients as well as many other admin duties.
Outside of work Amber enjoys socialising with family and friends, spending time with her two cockapoo dogs, travelling and shopping.

Prior to cottons Amie joined from a banking and finance background with 15 years' experience managing operations across charity, general business, and financial sectors. Astute leader skilled in guiding diverse teams through complex administrative functions in client-facing and deadline-driven environments. Currently in the Business Support role she now assist with every thing from engaging clients, to queries, tax checklist, SA, TYO, 64-8, HMRC queries, VAT and MTD sign up, XERO and other central support work as well as many other various tasks. Outside of work Amie enjoys horse riding and assisting people with their horses as she volunteers in the welfare section, as well as spending time going on days out and away with her husband and daughter.

Ana has joined Cottons in December 2021 and is in charge of all the marketing strategy and branding, focusing specifically on delivering customer centric comms, implementing new processes and reshaping Cottons' brand image. Her background is very varied, having worked in automotive, luxury goods and financial services advertising before joining the team. This has given her a fresh new approach to accountancy. Outside work, she loves travelling, discovering new foods & cultures or spending time in nature with her travel-reluctant sausage dog - oh the irony.

Aneta is a Director based in Daventry office. She has joined Cottons in 2010 as a trainee following completion of Accounting and Finance degree at the University of Northampton. She has qualified as a member of ACCA in 2014 and became a fellow in 2019. Aneta works closely with a many owner managed SME's in a wide range of industries, assisting them with their accountancy, VAT and other requirements. She is Xero certified and she has experience in using other accountancy softwares including Sage, Quickbooks and Kashflow. In her spare time she enjoys reading and walking.
Ashleigh joined Cottons in December 2022 as a Tax Senior and works in our Northampton office. She initially completed a degree in Psychology at Coventry University before starting her career in Personal Tax. Ashleigh has since gained 5 years experience working in personal tax compliance for a top 10 firm and specialises in the completion of self-assessment tax returns. In her spare time, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Basit an ACCA Finalist and MSc Accountancy and Finance qualified accountant joined Cottons in Feb 2022 as a Senior Accountant on a part-time basis and now working full-time with them from Feb 2023.
He has worked previously as a Senior Accountant in Pearl Chartered Accountants for 7 months. Also, as a Senior Accountant for 25 months at Base Practice Support Ltd. His background is mostly working on the preparation of YE Statutory Accounts, VAT returns, Management Accounts and Bookkeeping of SMEs. Also works on preparation of Personal Tax Returns.

Beth is an administrator in the Rugby office. She started working at cottons many years ago during the school holidays doing odd jobs around the Rugby office. In 2018 She then became a part time member of the admin team whilst completing her animal management degree at college. After finishing this degree in 2020 she became a full time permeant member of the Rugby admin team. Outside of work Beth enjoys spending time with family & friends and her little dog Milo.

After qualifying as a member of the ACA and CTA at another practice, Callum joined Cottons in 2019. Callum manages our Tax Team, spending his time working in partnership with clients in considered, practical and efficient planning across all the key taxes, dealing with specific technical complications and trying to rein in his fellow tax manager, Scott!
Outside of the office, Callum will often be found on a football pitch, a golf course, a cricket ground or a day at the races. He's also a six-visit veteran of the Glastonbury Festival!

Charles has built up considerable experience over the past 10 years specialising in advising and assisting entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses with their forward strategy and compliance requirements. Charles qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with Cottons in 2016 after graduating with a degree in Economics, and after a 5 year stint working with a portfolio of SME's in a variety of sectors at a top 12 firm, returned to Cottons in 2022 to contribute to its continued expansion.
Charles not only enjoys forming strong relationships with his clients through a thorough understanding of their business and future goals, but also building teams in order to provide exposure for those training with him.
In his spare time, Charles enjoys spending time with his young family and in the mountains; be it skiing, cycling or hiking. He is also a keen follower of Rugby Union and certain motorsport.

Charlie joined Cottons in August 2022, as part of the acquisition of J R Watson & Co, where he had been for just over a year. Charlie started his accounting journey by self studying AAT, which he has now completed, and is going to be starting the ACA qualification in 2023. He enjoys long walks on the beach, discovering new music and contemplating lifes many mysteries.

Chloe recently joined Cottons in February 2023 after finishing her ACA qualification and becoming a Chartered accountant. Chloe is currently in the process of finishing her CTA qualification to become a Chartered tax advisor. Chloe is based in the Northampton office and is Xero, Quickbooks and Freeagent certified with experience using various other software. With over 8 years experience in Practice, Chloe has experience in Accounts, VAT, CIS, and can help with other areas where businesses need support. When Chloe is not in the office she will either been seen working with horses or spending time repairing her classic car.

Chloe Snodin is a Payroll Administrator who started as a trainee in Daventry in 2015 however she is now based in our Market Harborough office. She is a CIPP qualified member of our Payroll team who specialises in payroll processing including work place pensions, HMRC queries, CIS processing and payroll legislative requirements. Chloe left Cottons for a period of time in 2018 however rejoined our payroll team in 2021 with now nearly 8 years experience.

After spending a year in industry Chrystal made her return to practice, starting at Cottons in July 2022 as a Senior Accountant. Day to day, Chrystal's role focuses on the preparation of accounts and tax returns for a variety of businesses and individuals, where she aims to deliver high quality services to all clients. She has enjoyed getting to know a number of clients on an individual basis, and learning how best to support each business through the different stages of their lifecycle.
Chrystal has a passion for learning; she is ACCA qualified and is currently studying towards her CTA qualification, which she believes will be great addition to her expanding knowledge-base and a real asset when assisting clients with their tax needs. Throughout her career she has particularly enjoyed aiding clients with their move onto digital record keeping, providing ongoing support to build confidence and independence in their chosen software.
Chrystal is a firm believer in the importance of clear communication, and prioritises supporting both clients and trainees with any queries they may have. She is a proud member of the Cottons team and values their diligent, forward-thinking approach to both internal development and client services.
Outside of work Chrystal is a keen golfer and loves the time spent outdoors almost as much as analysing the stats afterwards.

Dan joined Cottons in 2003 as a trainee after completing a degree in Economics. Qualifying as a member of the ICAEW in 2008 Dan's career continued to progress and he became a Partner in 2013. Dan works with a wide variety of clients and lead on the expansion of Cottons into the Milton Keynes area. Dan believes working in partnership with clients is key in adding clarity to the numbers and helping drive a successful business.

Daria joined Rugby Office in November 2022, following previous Bookkeeping and Payroll roles in both practice and industry. Having gained MAAT qualifications Daria is also CIPP qualified Payroll Technician. She specialises in processing client's payrolls and providing support on HMRC queries, Autoenrolment, CIS and various regulatory matters. In her free time Daria is passionate about hiking and travelling.
Dave joined Cottons in 1987 as a trainee and went on to qualify with the firm in 1992. He helped set up the firm's second office in Northampton and became a Partner in July 1999. Dave now works in our Rugby office as a general practitioner, is a Responsible Individual for audit reports and is also the Employment Partner for the whole firm. Dave`s claim to fame is winning the FA Vase playing at Wembley for V S Rugby.

Dawn Hopper is our payroll bureau manager with over 24 years payroll experience and is based in our Daventry office. She specialises in payroll processing on behalf of clients including pension deductions, payroll legislative requirements, basic employment law as well as assisting clients and staff with their own payroll processing queries/computer programme support (Sage 50 payroll and HMRC basic tools). Dawn is a fully qualified member of the Chartered Institute of payroll professionals with diploma qualification.
