Aimee joined the payroll team after relocating from Brighton. Since working in Payroll from 2012 she has always enjoyed working on client payrolls and building great relationships with clients. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, weekends in the Lake District and most importantly spending lots of time with her Border Terrier puppy, Mavis
Alison joined Stopfords in January 2013 with over 20 year of administration experience. She can be found on reception on Thursday and Fridays. In her spare time Alison enjoys spending time with family and going for meals out.
Amanda has been a key member in the Admin team since joining the practice in 2000. She is our receptionist Monday to Wednesday and makes everyone feel welcome when visiting Stopfords. In her spare time she enjoys being with her family including her dog Sid and going for meals out. She also enjoys jetting off on holiday.
Amy joined the bookkeeping team in June 2022. She maintains bookkeeping records including the preparation and submission of VAT returns. During her spare time Amy enjoys walks in the countryside and spending time with her family.
Angela joined the Stopfords team in August 2018. As she has experience in several accounting software applications Angela's time is divided between bookkeeping, accounts preparation and providing training to our clients who choose to do their own bookkeeping. In her spare time Angela enjoys spending time with her two dogs, cookery and drinking wine.
Glen joined Stopford's in 2002 and became a director in 2007. He has over 30 years of experience advising owner managed small and medium sized businesses. Glen has a wide portfolio of clients, he regularly deals with a wide range of accounts, taxation, VAT and business issues. Glen is very much client focused and adjusts his approach to meet individual needs. Outside of work Glen enjoys golfing and is a member of Hallowes Golf Club.
Jay joined the team in July 2021 having previously worked in other local accountancy practices for thirteen years. She is a fully qualified accountant and mainly works in the Corporate team and also carrying out audits. In her spare time Jay likes to travel and also socialising with friends and family'
Jess has been part of the Admin team for over 9 years, she is responsible for all client engagements at the firm and making sure that money laundering checks are complete and adhere to the current regulations. She assists clients with forming of Limited Company's and dealing with Companies House requirements. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and walking her dog Tess.
Since joining the payroll department in 2016 Joe has achieved his level 4 AAT qualification. His extensive knowledge of Auto Enrolment Pension regulations is a key factor in his role. In his spare time Joe enjoys spending time with his family and also enjoys watching TV box sets.
Karen joined the team in April 2021 and is currently completing her Level 4 AAT qualification. Her time is spent predominately preparing Limited company accounts but she also assists the sole trader and partnership team. In her spare time she enjoys being with her family and her dog Skylar. She also enjoys socialising with friends.
Kirstie joined the team in January 2023 having previously worked in practice for seven years. She is a highly experienced accountant and her time is split between the limited companies, sole trader and partnership team and also carrying out audits. In her spare time Kirstie likes to watch her husband and children play rugby and going on walks with her 2 dogs.
Lyndsey joined the bookkeeping team in August 2022. She maintains bookkeeping records including the preparation and submission of VAT returns. In her spare time she enjoys completing Escape Rooms, spending time with family and friends.
Joining the firm in 2004 Mandy has worked to develop the payroll department and ease the burden of payroll on our clients. She has a lot of experience and recognises that attention to detail is a pre-requirement in producing prompt and accurate information. In her spare time she enjoys going out for meals and also jetsetting around the world.
Morgan joined the team in November 2022 as a trainee accountant. He will be studying towards his ACCA, whilst gaining experience in all aspects of accountancy from Sole Traders to Limited Companies. In his spare time Morgan enjoys to play and watch football.
Nichola heads up our Bookkeeping department and has formed close working relationship with her clients. She maintains bookkeeping records including preparation and submission of VAT returns and also has a key role training clients on accounting software. In her spare time Nichola enjoys socialising and travelling around the country with her husband.
Nicola joined the team in February 2023. Her time is split between preparing accounts for the sole trader/partnership team and limited companies team. Nicola also maintains bookkeeping records including preparation & submission of VAT returns for clients. In her spare time Nicola enjoys spending time with her family and anything Marvel related.

Phil joined the team in March 2000 and became a director in May 2007. Phil is the firms Audit Compliance Principal and specialises in corporate businesses, overseeing our audits. He not only works closely with our corporate clients but also oversees the delivery of services to our more specialised clients such as Solicitors, Charities, Insurance Brokers and Doctors. In his spare time Phil can be found most weekends out on his bike with his two boys.
Rebecca joined the team in 2007 and qualified as an accountant in summer 2012. Her time is split between the corporate and sole trader and partnership teams. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog George. She also enjoys socialising with friends.
Ruth has been part of the Team for over 20 years, as Office Manager she is responsible for a wide range of practice admin functions including her least favourite role as debt collector! In her spare time she enjoys dancing on a weekly basis and also spending time with family and friends whether it be for meals out, seeing shows or holidaying.
Sarah works predominately in the Corporate Team carrying out Audits and working closely with some of our Limited clients. When joining Stopfords in 2011 she also worked with our Sole Trader & Partnership Team which means she has a wealth of experience in all sizes of business.
Sarah joined the team in March 2022 and qualified as an accountant in 2014. Her time is split between the limited companies, sole trader and partnership team and enjoys getting involved in the day to day operations of our clients businesses. In her spare time Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and going on walks with her dog Elsie.

Tim is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians with over 17 years experience in tax, with a particular interest in Income from Property. He prides himself in building relationships and understanding the clients to assist them with their tax queries. In his spare time Tim enjoys spending time with his Fiancee and little boy and also enjoys watching Notts County FC.
Tricia is one of the original Stopfords team members. She is head of the tax team, is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and also a Fellow Member of the Association of the Accounting Technicians (AAT). She has 30 years experience working on both Personal & Corporate Taxes. In her spare time she enjoys going on holiday to Portugal and also watching her husband Gary race his motorbike in Club Level Racing.
