Dr. Brian Halpern was the first nonsurgical, fellowship-trained and board certified sports medicine physician at Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Halpern founded the Primary Sports Medicine program at HSS, one of the first PSM programs within a hospital in the United States, and served as its first Chief of Service for seven years.
Dr. Seckendorf has been in private practice since 1991, specializing in non-operative/post-operative cervical and lumbar spine chiropractic and spinal rehabilitation. He is the first chiropractor to be on staff at HSS. Dr. Seckendorf's practice includes management of various spinal and extra-spinal conditions. Dr. Seckendorf is an innovator in the corporate wellness space, having opened wellness centers for several major brands.
Dr. Rock G. Positano has been on staff at HSS since 1991. He serves in the capacity of Founder and Director of the Non-surgical Foot and Ankle Service and the Joe DiMaggio Heel Pain Center at HSS. Dr. Positano specializes in musculoskeletal podiatry, the non-surgical diagnosis and treatment of muscle, tendon, ligament, and bone disorders of the foot and ankle using physical therapy protocols/modalities and prescription foot orthoses. In addition, musculoskeletal podiatry involves evaluating and treating biomechanical relationships of how the foot affects knee, hip, and back function and pathology using prescription foot orthoses.
Nancy brings 30+ year experience in health and wellness space to 360 Medical. She is the founder of InTouch Bodywork and has been an advisor to several luxury hospitality brands in creating their spa and wellness offerings. She has overseen operations for Dr. Seckendorf for 25 years during which time she has spearheaded their expansion into various independent and corporate wellness offices.
