Dr. Choudhury is board certified in Gastroenterology. He received his training from Medical College of Virginia, Richmond Virginia with specialization in therapeutic endoscopy. He was responsible for building the tertiary level therapeutic endoscopy services at Community Regional Medical for the entire central valley. He was instrumental in the conceptualization and setting up of the state of art endoscopy suite at community regional medical centers along with being one of the core members responsible for the initiation of the Gastroenterology fellowship program at UCSF Fresno. He introduced and has been maintaining tertiary level pancreato-biliary endoscopy and comprehensive GI tract neoplasia management program in the central valley along with other multi-disciplinary team members.
His areas of interest besides General gastroenterology include pancreato-biliary therapeutic endoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound and Fine needle aspiration, staging /management and palliation of complex gastrointestinal cancers and endoscopic mucosal resection for complex colorectal polyps.
He is a member of American Gastroenterology Association (AGA), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).
Dr. Choudhury is the best specialist I've ever had. He listened well to the specifics of my case, got a history of my eating habits, and prescribed some changes. Under his care I had no more acute pancreatitis attacks.
Dr Singh is board certified in gastroenterology. He received his training from UCSF Fresno with additional training in management of inflammatory bowel disease, therapeutic endoscopy and gastrointestinal motility disorder. He is responsible for settling up GI motility services including anorectal manometry at Community Regional Medical centers. He was one of the core faculty members responsible for training both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology trainees at UCSF Fresno medical education program. He has received specialized training in GI tract Motility and is the only trained person in Anorectal/High resolution manometry in the entire Central Valley.
His areas of interest besides General Gastroenterology include pancreato-biliary endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease and complex GI tract motility disorders.

Dr. Muhammad Sheikh, M.D. has served as the founding Chief of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Program at UCSF Fresno. He was instrumental in the creation and accreditation of a new gastroenterology division and fellowship program at UCSF Fresno. He is Professor(Emeritus) of Clinical Medicine at UCSF. Prior to moving to Fresno, he wasMedical Director for Liver transplant at the University of California Irvine(UCI) Medical Center.
Dr. Sheikh is board certified in Internal Medicine,Gastroenterology and Clinical Nutrition. In addition, he specializes in hepatology and the management of liver diseases, liver transplant evaluation, and the nutritional support of critically ill patients. Dr. Sheikh is actively involved in clinical research as it relates to hepatitis C, fatty liver, and hepaticencephalopathy. Dr. Sheikh completed his residency training at IndianaUniversity and his fellowship training at the University of Louisville inKentucky and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School inBoston.
Dr. Sheikh is listed as one of the best Gastroenterologists in the United States by Consumer Reports and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and theAmerican Gastroenterology Association (AGA). He has been selected for "Who'sWho" 2010/2011 edition as a member of North America's most accomplishedHealthcare Professionals. He directs "Valley Gut Club," a highly prestigious monthly Continuing Medical Education program in Central California.
Dr. Sheikh is the recipient of "Laureate Award-2012" fromAmerican College of Physicians, Northern California Chapter. Dr. Sheikh has been published extensively in top ranking journals including: The New EnglandJournal of Medicine and Hepatology.
