AMKA AFRICA

AMKA Africa Justice Initiative (AMKA Africa), is an independent non-profit organization registered in Kenya. It works collaboratively with university legal clinics and grass root organisations to promote access to justice for the poor, the minority and marginalised groups in Kenya and the rest of Africa. AMKA Africa's core programmes are: Access to Justice programme and Good Governance & Human Rights programme... With Support from the Freedom Fund, we have a project, collaborative initiative aimed at addressing the alarming issue of hiring child domestic workers in Nairobi, Kenya. Our project seeks to raise awareness, advocate for policy reforms, and implement sustainable interventions to eliminate the exploitative practice of employing children as domestic workers. By empowering children, families, communities, and key stakeholders, we strive to create a safer and brighter future for vulnerable children.
