Aaron Lukken and Viking Advocates partner with a network of attorneys and agents worldwide. Aaron has a wealth of experience assisting attorneys across North America in navigating the choppy waters of cross-border litigation. Aaron became intrigued by international issues as an Army brat in the late 1970s when his father was stationed at NATO Headquarters (SHAPE) in Belgium. His family's three years abroad sparked a fascination with foreign cultures, languages, politics, and eventually… international law. An Iowa native, Aaron earned his B.A. from Morningside College and a Diploma in French Studies from the University of Caen in Normandy. After college, he served as a constituent advocate on U.S. Senator Tom Harkin's staff. Eventually migrating to Kansas City, he spent a decade at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (later SBC and AT&T), advising small businesses on telecommunications technologies. International issues and politics continued to intrigue him, so he decided to attend the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and focus his studies on international legal doctrine. Since his admission to the Missouri Bar, Aaron has built substantial expertise in the practical application of various Hague conventions and other transnational litigation procedures. Allan L. Hale

Allan L. Hale's practice concentrates on commercial litigation, construction litigation and real estate litigation, with particular emphasis on eminent domain, land use and valuation disputes. He has extensive experience in complex commercial dispute resolution and litigation on behalf of lenders and financial institutions, developers and contractors, and residential and commercial property owners. After obtaining his undergraduate degree from Harvard, Allan joined the personal staff of U.S. Senator Gary Hart (D-Colo.) in Washington, D.C., where he worked as a legislative assistant on energy, natural resource and transportation issues. Andrew Alder

Angel worked as a private criminal defense attorney for two years prior to starting her own firm in Maricopa, AZ. As a defense attorney, Angel fought hard for her clients and successfully litigated felony jury trials. While practicing criminal defense, Angel became acutely aware of the injustices of the justice system. Angel vowed to always listen to her clients and never discredit their experiences. So many criminal defendants are bullied through the judicial process and don't have the ability to speak up for themselves when it really counts. Throughout law school Angel never planned on working in this area of law, her passion was civil litigation and probate.
