David Kovar - CEO, Founder

David is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of URSA, Inc. where he leads the development and strategy of the company. He founded the practice of UAV forensics in 2015 and is one of the leading practitioners in the country. David has worked in digital forensics and cyber security since the mid 90's and, prior to founding URSA, led EY's U.S. incident response program. David is the Advocacy Director for the National Association of Search and Rescue where he writes UAV policy papers and develops presentations on UAVs in search and rescue for various audiences and is working on SAR UAV standards for ASTM. He is a private pilot for fixed wing and rotorcraft and also holds a Part 107 Commercial certificate for UAV operations. David earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Dartmouth and a master's degree in international affairs from the Fletcher School at Tufts.

Robert Cutler - COO

Robert Cutler is the Chief Operations Officer and Director of Engineering of URSA, Inc. Before joining URSA, Robert held administrative positions as Head of School at Cambridge International Preparatory School, Associate Head of School at Cornerstone Academy, and Assistant Head of School at The Harker School where he also served as Class Dean and Chair of the Computer Science department. He was also a Co-Founder and the Founding President of the Computer Science Teachers Association. Prior to entering the field of education, Robert was a software engineer and entrepreneur. He worked for several high-tech firms as a software engineer and manager in the fields of digital mapping and medical instrumentation, owning and operating a successful software consulting firm for more than ten years. Robert earned his master's degree in computer science from Purdue University and bachelors' degrees in computer science and German from Dartmouth College.
