AVID BEHAVIORAL DAY PROGRAM

At AVID Behavioral Day Program all employees must go through an extensive background check, DOJ clearance, physical exam, TB testings, reference checks, and extensive 40 hour training prior to being left alone with our consumers. Direct Care Staff's main function and responsibility is to ensure consumers are SUPERVISED and SAFE at all times, ensure the Individual Service Plan (ISP) are implemented, and engage in activities with consumers at Day Program and in the Community... AVID Respite Services operating hours are from Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to schedule respite services... Attend to the consumer's basic self help needs and other activities of daily living, including interaction, socialization, and continuation of usual daily routine which would ordinarily be performed by a family member. AVID In-Home Respite service serves children from 3 years old to 12 years old; teenagers from 13 years to 17; and adults from18 years to 59 years old with disabilities.
