Bernie Buonnano is a Managing Director at Nautic Partners, a middle market private equity firm located here in Providence, RI that focuses on manufacturing, healthcare and business services. He has worked at Nautic Partners and its predecessor, Fleet Equity Partners, since 1993. He has had representative investments in over 25 companies. Bernie is a member of the Executive and Investment Committee of Nautic Partners, and he also currently serves on the board of directors of Endries International LLC; CWS Holding Company, LLC; NLS Holdings LLC; Vantage Mobility LLC; S4T Holdings LLC; and Aerostar Holdings LLC. He is also the president of the Brown University Athletic Hall of Fame. Bernie is a Providence native and received an AB from Brown University in 1988 and an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1993.

John is a junior studying Applied-Mathematics Economics and East Asian Studies. Before coming to Brown, he attended Phillips Exeter Academy, where he graduated cum laude with departmental prizes in economics and religion. Outside of the classroom, John enjoys surfing, fishing, playing the piano, and watching football.
Kevin is a sophomore studying Economics and Political Science. Along with co-founding BPEC, Kevin is a writer/copy editor for the Brown Political Review, as well as an active member of the Brown-RISD Catholic Community. Kevin is a proud Rhode Island native who enjoys F1, traveling, surfing, and writing.
John Owen is a junior studying Philosophy, Economics, and Mandarin. John Owen grew up in Saunderstown, Rhode Island, and is interested in ethics and political economy. In his spare time, John Owen enjoys playing guitar, skiing, and chess.

Affairs. His academics interests lie within the intersections of psychology, politics, and economics. Outside of school, Maximilien is a member of the varsity water polo team and enjoys spending his free time doing outdoor activities.
