Ben Cecil

Ben believes in bringing academic dreams to life; from innovation in the classroom, to helping build the success stories of our students, Ben thrives on finding and promoting opportunities for our students, our faculty team, and our industry partners. Before becoming the Vice-President, Academic at triOS/Eastern College, Ben was the Provost & Vice-President, Academic and Students at Langara College, the Associate Vice-President, Academic, at Fanshawe College and the CEO for their Research Venture. He also was the Dean of the Environment, Media and Technology Division with Niagara College and was the Department Head for two departments at the University of Regina. Ben received his Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario, specializing in financial and corporate geography with additional specializations in cooperative business behaviour and technology partnerships.

Brian Naicker

Brian Naicker is Senior Director, Online Education at triOS and Eastern College. He has spent the past thirty-two years in education settings specializing in online and distance learning, corporate and executive training and continuing education within higher education. Most recently, he was the Director of University Partnerships, Online Program Management at Higher Ed. Partners in Johannesburg, South Africa. He previously directed one of Canada's largest Online & Distance Education Centres at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver for eight years, and was the Head of the Centre for Business Management at the School of Management Sciences at the University of South Africa in Pretoria for 4 years in addition to holding a senior lectureship position over fifteen years.

Craig Donaldson

Since joining the triOS team in 2008, Craig Donaldson has been committed to creating an environment that best supports student success. Craig has made noteworthy contributions to the growth of our organization, including the execution of our successful merger with Eastern College, as well as launching innovative online programs and international student partnerships. In his current role of Executive Vice President, International, Craig is passionate about delivering an exceptional Canadian educational experience to international students, and helping students gain the skills and expertise to realize their career goals. Craig enjoys travel, creating spreadsheets and sharing witty puns. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria.

David Tsubouchi

David Tsubouchi is the first Japanese Canadian to be elected to any provincial legislature in Canada and to be appointed as a Cabinet Minister. He has served as the Minister of Consumer and Commercial Relations, Solicitor General, Chair of Management Board and Minister of Culture, all in the Ontario Government. Mr. Tsubouchi sits on the boards of OMERS Pension Fund and the Ontario Arts Council. His book, Gambatte, was nominated for the Speaker's Book Award and the Heritage Toronto Book Award. His latest book, a YA Fantasy novel The Chinese Door, has been released recently.

Dr. Rick Miner

Dr. Rick Miner is President of Miner and Miner Ltd., a management consulting firm that specializes in issues related to labour force demand, jobs of the future, Human Resource Management and post- secondary education. Prior to this position, he served as Seneca College's President from August for eight years, and as Vice-President at University of New Brunswick for seven years. He was also at Saint Mary's University in Nova Scotia where he served as Director of the Canada/China Language and Cultural Program (1989 to 1993), Dean of Commerce (1982 to 1987), and MBA Director (1978 to 1981). He has written books and papers on management, organizational behavior and labour market projections, and has spoken extensively in Canada and abroad on these and related topics. Dr. Miner has served on many boards, including as the Past Chair of the Committee of Presidents of Ontario Colleges. He works closely with various government departments on issues that impact on post-secondary education, immigration, the skills shortage, innovation and commercialization.

Frank Gerencser - CEO, Founder

Frank Gerencser is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of triOS Corporation, the parent company of triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc., Eastern College Inc., and Lifecycle Systems Corporation. He was recognized with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the recipient of the University of Waterloo Faculty of Engineering 2018 Alumni Achievement Medal for Professional Achievement, his alma mater where he received his System Design Engineering degree. He sits on several boards, including the Career Colleges Ontario (CCO), and is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

Gail Millar

Gail Millar has worked in the private career college industry for over 20 years in multiple capacities. She has worked in Eastern campuses across New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia, serving as an Instructor, Campus Director, and now as Vice President of Admissions. She has been active on several boards and committees within the sector over the years and currently sits on the Executive of the Private Colleges Association of Nova Scotia . Gail has a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education (both from the University of PEI).

Graham McBride

Graham has been involved with entrepreneurs for over 30 years, with experience in a broad range of investment, strategic, general management, and corporate finance roles, crossing a diverse group of industries. Having led several successful investment teams, including at VG Partners and Royal Bank, Graham has been part of building many successful management teams and businesses, resulting in numerous successful private investments. Graham is Executive Chairman and CEO at LifeLearn Inc., a software and services firm providing education and efficiency tools to the veterinary space and is President of LarchHill Capital Inc., a private investment and consulting firm. He is a co-founder of FundThrough Inc., a fast-growing fintech lender to small businesses, a board member of several private companies, including Paygos Inc., AME Learning Inc., and Centurion Financial Investment Trust and active with several non-profit organizations. Graham holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University.

Jason Toms

As the Director of Facilities, Information Systems, and Technology, Jason has a demonstrated ability to bring innovative technology-based solutions directly to the end-user. Leveraging his 20+ years as an IT consultant, instructor, mentor and leader, Jason understands and appreciates how non-technical individuals can perceive and leverage various IT-centric tools. Along with leading the IT team, Jason also had the privilege of leading the Academics department for two years, giving him a clear perspective on how technology and a well-designed curriculum can enhance student experience create future-ready graduates. In addition to proudly holding a Network Engineer diploma from triOS College, Jason also has a B.Sc in Information Technology with an emphasis in cybersecurity and forensics.

Jayesh Makan

With over 15 years experience in the Information Technology, Financial services, and Retail sectors, Jayesh Makan joined triOS and Eastern College as their Vice President, Finance in 2021. Prior to entering the career college sector, Jayesh was the Director of Finance for CaseWare International (Toronto, Canada), a global leader in auditing software solutions, as well as Alteram Solutions (Johannesburg, South Africa). As a Chartered Professional Accountant, he has also maintained a wealth of leadership roles such as the Head of Business Reporting at Edcon, one of southern Africa's largest non-food retailer. Jayesh strives towards creating a productive and inclusive work environment, encouraging every team member to achieve their very best to collectively accomplish goals. Apart from dealing with auditors and the numbers, he enjoys the outdoor sporting activities with his 2 young boys.

Jeremy Auger

As the current Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of D2L Corporation, and former Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Jeremy Auger has managed many teams, from Engineering, Product, and Human Resources to Government Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions, Communications and Strategy. Jeremy is a serial entrepreneur, founding multiple companies (including helping to create and grow D2L) since his early years as an undergraduate student at the University of Waterloo. Jeremy served for 12 years as the chair of the Economic Development Board for the City of Kitchener and used this role to push modern economic development approaches across the city. Jeremy currently serves as a national board member for TechNation - Canada's National ICT Association, and has been accepted into the Forbes Technology Council, an invitational-only community for world class CIOs, CTOs and technology executives. He has also made a measurable impact as a passionate advocate for better provincial and federal policy support for the next generation of Canadian start-ups and scale-ups, and is a member of the Future Skills Council.

Krista Jones

She has been a passionate innovator and builder of technology-based businesses for over 30 years, and has spent her career working in and advising over 200 organizations, including public companies, high-growth firms and startups. Krista is an engineer, entrepreneur, mentor and expert problem solver. She has a unique combination of strategic, technical, operational and marketing expertise. And she is known for her comprehensive knowledge of the existing and emerging enterprise tech stack (architectures, technologies) and commercialization practices. Her greatest joys come from working with and learning from diverse, talented and ambitious people, as well as being a mother to three amazing young adults.

Kristina Cleary

Massimo Noce - CMO

Over the past 20 years, he has developed expertise in digital, social media, email, traditional media, PR, product management, and all other aspects of marketing. His journey has taken him from large corporate environments, to start-ups, to his own practice, and throughout his career he has been committed to developing a deeper understanding and appreciation of the customer. This approach has led to enhancements of the triOS College and Eastern College brands, media buying, website content, user experience, social media, and customer communications. Massimo holds an MBA from Schulich, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from York University. Outside of work, Massimo enjoys time with his daughter, is on the Board of an Ontario based charity, and runs a community based charitable endeavour for the homeless.

Ramona Porter

Ramona Porter is the Acting Human Resources Manager at triOS Corporation, the parent company of Eastern College, triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. and Lifecycle Systems Corporation. She has worked in several industries and has held positions in human resources, management, and executive administration. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies, Mona, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from York University. She is an active member of the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) Halton Chapter and holds the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.

He is an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO). Stuart has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University.

Wendy Churchill - EVP

Wendy Churchill is the Executive Vice President for triOS College and Eastern College. She has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in the Private Career College and Corporate Training industry and has led teams in admissions, academics, career services and operations. Wendy currently sits on the NACC Quality Education Committee and was elected to sit on the Canadian Payroll Association Code of Conduct board. Prior to joining the career college sector, Wendy worked extensively in the private corporate training sector and was the Senior Director for the leading Microsoft Training Partner, triOS Training Centres. During her leadership, triOS Training Centres won Canadian Microsoft Training Partner of the Year multiple times. Wendy has served on multiple advisory councils, including the worldwide Microsoft Advisory Council for educators, the Ontario Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade, and as President of the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners.
