Dr Amulya Tiwari MBBS (India) qualified in 1960 and FRCS from England and Edinburgh in 1964. He trained in India and the United Kingdom, and worked as specialist surgeon in India and Ghana (Africa). Dr Tiwari migrated to Australia in 1974 and worked as specialist surgeon and general practitioner since then. He is presently working as Skin Cancer Surgeon at Castle Hill Family Doctors.
Dr Golam Ahmad Miah qualified in 1985 has over 30 years combined clinical experience in medicine and as a GP. He has a keen interest in all areas of general practice with a special interest in paediatric, geriatric medicine, neurology, chronic disease management, and men's health.
Dr Iman Eftekhardeh Mashhadi works in all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in chronic disease management including mental health.
Dr Komathy Sathiyapal MBBS FRACGP DCH has been working as a general practitioner in Australia for the last 10 years, and can see all aspects of cases in general practice. Her main interests are women's health and geriatrics.
Dr Majid Sharifian MD FRACGP has been working in Australia for the past 17 years, he is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with a holistic approach to the diseases which helped him later on when he started specialising in chronic pain management. Dr Mana Nasseri Akbar MD FRACGP has been working as a General Practitioner for the past 10 years, of which 3 years has been in Australia. Dr Akbar has worked in VIC and NSW covering different aspects of general practice and hospital inpatient and emergency work. Dr Akbar believes in a holistic approach to disease management including a healthy lifestyle, healthy diet and proper psychosocial management. Biological management including pharmacologic therapy is one of the different aspects of treatment. Her special interests include chronic disease management, women's health, skin conditions, and aesthetic injectables.
Dr Parthibhan Shanmugasunderm works in all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in men's health.
Dr Ramessh Ranjan is an endocrinologist and staff specialist at The Canberra Hospital and Barton Specialist Clinic. He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne, before attaining his fellowship in both endocrinology and general medicine.
Dr Ryan Chen has been working as a clinician and researcher since graduating with an MBBS degree in 2010. He pursued postgraduate studies at the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra, where he obtained an MSc in Neuroscience. Subsequently, he earned a PhD in Medicine from the University of Adelaide in 2017.
After completing his RACGP fellowship training, Dr Chen finds it rewarding to be a part of the community, providing ongoing care and ensuring continuity for his patients. With a wealth of experience in both hospital and general practice settings, he is a highly skilled clinician who firmly believes in adopting a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing compassion, effective communication, and a comprehensive understanding of their needs in the decision-making process. His areas of particular interest include general medicine, minor surgical procedures including skin cancer, chronic disease management, mental health, health promotion and preventive medicine. He enjoys reading, swimming, exercising, travelling and spending time with his young family during his leisure time.
Dr Sandamali Senaratne is a General Practitioner who has been practising in Australia for over 20 years, and has been working in the Castle Hill area since 2004. Her special interests are pregnancy care and antenatal shared care with local public hospitals.

Dr Selvaranjani Thillairajah MBBS (CMC Vellore) graduated in 1995 and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Thillairajah has special interests in mental health, women's health, diabetes and all other aspects of general practice.
Dr Smitha Sarpamalay has experience in medicine for over 17 years. After completing her undergraduate medical training in India, she completed her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After moving to Australia in 2014, Dr Smitha worked in Obstetrics for a few years before deciding to change her career path to become a GP. She gained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2022.
With a strong interest in all aspects of women's health, Dr Smitha also obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Australia and New Zealand. She also holds a Diploma in Child Health with Sydney Children's Hospital Network.
Dr Smitha is passionate about her work as a GP. Her compassionate and understanding nature stands out in her interaction with her patients. Her interests in general practice include chronic diseases, preventative health, mental health, child health, women's health and minor skin surgical procedures. She has a strong interest in all aspects of women's health including antenatal care, reproductive health, contraception (including devices), menopause, sexual health, and adolescent health.
Outside of her life as a doctor, Dr Smitha enjoys spending time with her family, getting out into the nature and trekking. She also loves putting her dancing shoes on in her spare time. She is a dedicated mum and is busy with her little one when not at work.
Dr Sowmya Sreeharan MBBS FRACGP is qualified from Imperial College London. She completed postgraduate examinations, including membership in the Royal College of Physicians UK and membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners UK. She has been working as a General Practitioner in Sydney for over 10 years, and enjoys all aspects of primary care.
Dr Timothy Carr MBBS graduated from Sydney University in 1976. He has been in general practice for about 35 years and in the Hills area for 15 years. Dr Carr integrates in his practice the traditional system of Indian Medicine. His main interest is stress management and personalised dietary and lifestyle prescriptions for the prevention and management of chronic disease.
Dr Md Emran Ali MBBS, MSc Cardiology, FRACGP, qualified first for MBBS in 2000 from Bangladesh. Then he was trained in Cardiology from Bangladesh, trained and qualified in MSc Cardiology from Canterbury Christ Church University (United Kingdom) in 2010, completed his FRACGP from Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 2023.
Rima Aghajanian is an integrational functional Podiatrist and in that process uses foot to core sequencing in order to assess and diagnose postural and biomechanical lower limb pathologies. Rima uses a holistic approach, and her interests include general podiatry, posture and alignment treatment, biomechanics & orthotic therapy, children's feet and diabetic foot care.
