  • Agent
  • Office Manager
Amy grew up in a small town in Maine, riding from the time she was seven. She competed in both dressage and hunter classes at the local level, and still has a closet full of Breyer horses which were her prized possessions when young. Amy graduated from the University of Maine in Orono and lived in Virginia before settling in Massachusetts with her husband. She is an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins. When not in the office, Amy can be found in the garden, reading, or cooking up some healthy (or not so healthy!) dish. Time with family and friends plays an important role in her life. When asked about why she got into insurance, Amy said, "I was looking for a new challenge, and when I saw there was insurance for horses and farms, I had to look into it! Plus, it was a part time career to begin with, which allowed me to participate in my son's life more fully, volunteering in the classroom, being a soccer coach and watching him play sports. Now that he is on his own, I enjoy working full time and talking to the many people we work with, helping them protect what's important in their lives." Amy Richards is a Massachusetts licensed Property & Casualty agent and has the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations, and she also runs the office here at Corinthian Insurance.

Joseph Lombard - Founder

Job Titles:
  • Company Founder
  • Founder
In the early days, Joe used the vestibule of his home as Corinthian's first office. After his two sisters would leave for work, Joe would move his desk to greet incoming prospects and clients. He would then pull a phone out through the window, unravel the tail cord and place it on his desk. Corinthian Insurance Agency was open for business! Joe grew up on his family's traditional New England farm growing corn and other crops to be sold or fed to the livestock. The Lombard farm sold everything from eggs to pork until the late seventies. It became Saddle Rowe Farm, a riding stable, with the help of Joe's late wife and their six children, the love of horses unifying the whole family. Joe continues to earn the trust and business of the farming community one client at a time. On most weekends, you can still find Joe offering young riders words of encouragement and inspiration after lessons and classes. When not in the office or the barn, Joe can be found eating at local restaurants around town. Over thirty years ago, licensed horse show judge, instructor and equine appraiser, Joe Lombard, was dissatisfied with the lack of knowledgeable equine insurance agencies. A lifelong outdoors-man and equine enthusiast, Joe decided the best way to solve this problem would be to start an insurance agency of his own dedicated to understanding and catering to the needs of the farming and equine community. Today, Joe's eldest son, Scott Lombard, continues to serve farm and horse owners across the country.
