CYBERNOODLERS

Projects, ideas, thoughts, and stories from the messy, chaotic world of biology and the structured, deterministic world of computation from two CyberNoodlers - Tatyana Dobreva and David Brown... I view the digital and biological as different systems with the same fundamental driving forces: self-preservation, and entropy reduction. I am one of these systems, and I seek to reduce entropy through understanding and organizing the world around me. Some word blobs to summarize me: artificial intelligence, bioengineering, self-organizing systems, science fiction, immersive experiences, quantified self, backpack travel, creative writing... I am an engineer. I am a scientist. I am an artist. The science side of me poses the curious questions fueling the need for tools. The engineer side of me designs and implements tools to answer the questions, fueling more questions. The artist side of me keeps me on the look out for patterns and unique ways to merge them.
