My mission is to help regulated finance firms in whatever jurisdiction to review, develop and implement corporate governance strategies appropriate for their environment. Board composition is part of it, but regulators have an expectation that firms will implement procedures that ensure compliance with regulations, AML and treating customers fairly to name but three... Over the past 25 years there has been review after review of how corporate governance failures in major firms and in particular banks contributed to financial crises and why well governed firms survived the storms.
